I am over the month of March.. WAY over it. A lot of good things are going to happen (hopefully) in April.. To name a few..

My son turns a year old on April 1st.
My fiance will (hopefully) start his "promotion" on April 4th.
Our anniversary is April 12.
Race for the Cure is April 16th.
I FINALLY get to try on my wedding dress the 28th. (1st fitting)
My last day of this dreaded semester is the 29th.

Oh and maybe just MAYBE it will start getting warmer outside!!

What are you excited about in april.. or really any month coming up?!

I always love the start of a new month simply because the baggage and crap that happened the month before feels like it's been lifted off my shoulders! It's like you get to start new all over again, and I know they say that about each day, but the fact it's a NEW month it's really so much more fresh.

What am I excited for to happen in April...maybe the snow will finally go away and stay gone haha.

Those are all great things happening in April! Looks like you'll be super busy too!!

I'm excited for April because...

1) My bday is 4/17!
2) One month closer to seeing my boyfriend again!
3) Taking the kids to the circus 4/14- they really wanted to go and begged me for tickets. The day before I was going to buy some, I won them!
4) We have a photo shoot (the kids only) on 4/16, Spring pictures!
5) Spring break in 2 weeks... the kids will be with their mom all week, so I'll be able to redecorate some!

and of course, I'm looking forward to working out more and seeing what my weight is at the end of the month!

1st- Mums birthday
4th- I get my student loan
8th- Going shopping for holiday clothes
11th- Music theory exam over and done with
25th-Go on holiday

Plus it's going to be sunnier meaning more walks, swimming, ice pops, and trips to the park

My son is getting his 1 year old pictures done on friday and I can't wait!! I love when he gets his pictures done.. maybe I will schedule some family pictures too. You can never have too many pictures..


And I agree! I love the feeling of the drama of one month being over and the next one starting fresh!

I'm looking forward to April because:

*I start my "full time" position officially on April 3rd, even though my first day of work that week is the 4th.
*My best friend's birthday is the 3rd
*I will hopefully be in Onederland at the end of the month
*Hopefully there will be no more snow

I am looking forward to April because:

•Baseball season is officially here! GO RED SOX!
•I can begin counting down the days until I am finished with school (I get my certificate in May)
•I am also excited to continue working out and eating good for an entire month and seeing what my weight will be by months end-- hopefully in the 100s

I am looking forward to April because I will:

-Start off the month on a fun weekend away with my hubby. Its for his business, but we will have all day Saturday for fun together!
-Defend my thesis....and be at peace that my work is good enough for a "pass" so I will finish grad school.
-Be a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding!

MuscialJess: Vacations are fun! Are you going away or just a break from school? And I feel you on wanting the sunnier weather! It's been such a cold and dreary winter here!

Andrbeck: I agree about not having too many pictures! I never took my son for professional pix until his 1st birthday, and now I'm making up for it and have done his birthday, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Spring! lol

Laneyy: Congrats on your job! I bet you'll be in Onederland for sure! You're so close!!

I love Spring and I am super glad for April because:

-I officially re-booted my weight loss at the end of March and April will be a full month of working my @$$ off, so I want to see results! lol
-One month close to being done with this freakin' semester!!! And then May will be the last month of school for a few months
-I should start receiving my unemployment, I had to fight for it and I've been pretty broke, so I am pretty excited (fingers crossed this works out for me)

April 2: The day I get to go back to NC (After 6 months of being stuck in Canada).
April 12: Our 1 year anniversary
April 26: My dad's birthday

this weekend I have the Cooper River Bridge Run and on Sunday hubby and I are planting our spring flowers.

Next weekend i'm going to an inter-chapter weekend event for Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity.

The black period (studying and taking finals) starts, but after that its the end of the semester!

I'm happy about spring, but I do not like April. My mom's birthday was on 4/14 and it's just a crummy day all around. (She passed away in June of 2006.) From April till June, I generally get moody and grumpy, lol. I can usually put things out of my mind, but that generally isn't something I can get rid of.

So I'm not looking forward to April. On the way into work this morning I realized it was the 31st, and I was bummed. Ick.

Boo, April.

Sigh. Oh well. Nothing I can do... I'm doing my 5K on Saturday and I'm hoping to do well for my Mom. She would have been so proud, lol.
