I Am Starting South Beach Diet Today

  • I have the books and I know what to do. I'm starting today.

    This is probably the easiest diet I have ever started. I hesitated because of the food restrictions, but in the end the freedom of not weighing, measuring (except for nuts and oils, etc), counting calories, points, etc. won out. Plus I cannot eat gluten, and this way of eating fits in perfectly.

    Phase 1 here I come!

  • Awesome! Good Luck! I began phase 1 two weeks ago and was perfect until the stupid girlscout cookies came in! I have had a few the last 2 nights but have been on track during the day.

    The think that makes me so mad is that I am not even hungry and I think that I am just eating out of habit!!! I hate it!

    But on a positive note I have gone to the gym the past 2 days and burned 400 calories which I don't think is too bad for not being there in over 2 years!

    I love to walk but not by myself, however for some reason I can put on my iPod and go to town on the eliptical, probably becuse there are other people around me.

    I also caved last night and ate some noodles I woke up feeling hungover from the sugar it was wierd. But thus far today I have been on target.

    I just wish that there was a weight loss fairy LOL
