What's Your Reward?

  • I've noticed some people have posted 'rewards' they are looking forward to once they have reached certain milestones. I'll be happy when I can fit my now 43" hips into my favorite

skirt again. So, what's your reward?

  • Mine is a pair of size 9 cargo pants. I really also want to be comfortable going swimming... O_O I love to swim, and I'd love to wear a bathing suit... I always wear shorts and a spandex kinda tank top. I want to wear an actual bathing suit and not hate my legs.

  • I think my biggest reward will be just to feel "normal" again, meaning within a healthy weight. I haven't been there for about 9 years now.

Other than that, most of my big rewards are linked to my pride. The pride I'll feel when I'm able to run without stopping. The pride I'll feel when I start to see abs again, etc.

I also have 3 or 4 pairs of "goal" jeans and some other clothes. I'm thinking of having some boudoir photography done when I get to goal too.
  • My reward for 160 is a trip my BF is taking me on. 10 more lbs..... I can't wait!

I need to come up with some rewards for 150 and 140 (dream goal).
  • mine is a pair of gap jeans I loved when I was much slimmer ... hope they're still somewhat in style Love the idea of the boudoir photos - I'd wanted to get some pin-up girl type pics taken (40's style) - nothing raunchy but wwii era fun
  • When I hit the 150's, one of my best friends will fly out to see me and we're going to spend the whole day shopping and hanging out! The amazing thing is that we both started around the same weight and we're about 1 lb. away from one another and around the same height, so it's really awesome! The last time we saw one another, we were both at our highest weights and feeling very uncomfortable. I can't wait to see her! She's probably going to come out at the end of Feb!
  • Mine will be a new pair of Lululemon Groove pants, since I will have outgrown my current ones.

The weight loss it self will be the biggest reward.
  • Mine is to use a gift card I have on new clothes when i fit comfortly into my next size down pants.
  • My rewards are written at the front of my CC diary and they are true incentive. A couple of vacations are in there, a couple of bath and body work/LUSH splurges. I might have too many rewards actually.

I never even thought of that. I LOVE to swim & haven;t gone in ages. I have lived by a lake for like 6 years and have never once been swimming in it

I will definitely be wearing a sweet swimsuit and swimming!

I also have this amazing dress I love but could never fit into. I can't wait to wear it!
  • Like the rest of you--clothes.

Also, a cute, short haircut that will look a lot better on me once my face isn't so round and double-chinned
  • I know that my reward when I get down to about a size twelve or so, I'm about an 18/20 now, is to go on a clearance rack shopping spree. I've always been frugal when it comes to clothes, but I do love them, I love to shop clearance racks, but, of course, there's almost never something that I like in my size. So, that's my reward, to go on a clearance shopping spree for clothes that I like.
  • When I started, I planned little rewards every five pounds. I'd gotten out of the habit, thinking I didn't need the little incentives anymore, but my motivation dropped off too. Not because of the lack of incentives, I think just in general I was taking my plan for granted.

I rejoined TOPS a few months ago, to help me stay focused. My TOPS group does a lot of small contests, including a weekly best loser contest (everyone contributes a dime, and the best loser gets all those dimes, usually $2-$3).

I don't have my goal weight incentive planned, but I am planning on doing something big to celebrating 100 lbs lost. I haven't been under 300 lbs, in nearly 20 years.
