What's your reward?
Yeah, yeah, good health is it's own reward. We're all gonna love just being our goal weights. But, it seems like most folks have a special treat lined up. But, are you going to get an extra nice new wardrobe? A trip? An adventure? A piece of jewelry? A new car?
DH promised me a new wardrobe, but I'll need new stuff anyhow because the old stuff won't stay on! And, the stuff I've been saving for years is probably outdated by now! I like to dress nicely, but I'm not a "whee, shopping spree" kinda gal. Me, I'm thinking of getting a Mother's ring. The one I like best is really a "couple's" ring meant for, well, a romantic couple. But, I only have two kids, so it'd work for me. It very much resembles my wedding ring (which is really a "cocktail" ring, kinda like http://www.leddel.com/leddel_interna...id2=10&id3=734), so maybe that's why I like it. But, I can't imagine spending $85 on a swimsuit especially as infrequently as I swim. Maybe that's the definition of reward - something you can't otherwise justify!

There's soo many things, and each year that goes by, my choices change!  I want to be able to wear a cute little black dress, a bathing suit without a skirt, clothes that aren't from a plus size store. Energy, confindence, etc.

LED, that is a pretty ring! I have always wanted a mother ring, just haven't found the one I like best. And I like that bathing suit as well. I have the same issues as you and I don't believe I will ever feel comfortable in a bikini again, maybe a tankini type or something. My goal is to feel good in a one piece again!
london, how fun to go to Kenya! One day I would love to go myself, maybe when the kiddos are grown!

I was setting myself up with mini-rewards. Like after I lost 10 lbs, a 30 min stress buster massage. 20 lbs, a new outfit or two. 30 lbs I haven't figured out yet! Guess when i get closer to that mark, I will have a better idea!

I have mini rewards for every 5 pounds lost, such as new nail polish, new shoes, and so on. The rewards get bigger as I lose more weight.
My goal-weight reward is a weekend at the Disneyland resort! 
I also am planning maintenance rewards, such as getting some "glamour" pictures, a beauty consultation (to learn make-up tips from a pro), and things like that. I will probably give myself these little treats about every 3 to 6 months or so.

New here, hello everyone!!! I hadn't even thought about rewards for my weight-loss until I ran across this. I think what I'll do is this: for each 10 pounds lost I will buy myself either a new article of clothing or new shoes (I LOVE clothes/shoes shopping). When I reach my goal weight, I'm going to reward myself with a mini vacation of my choice all by myself (this is HUGE considering I'm a single mother of 3 kids under the age of 10 and have never gone on any kind of a vacay by myself lol). Maybe I'll change now that I have the idea.

Wow, yanno I hadn't even thought of a reward! Now ya'll have got me thinking -LOL- I do mini-goal rewards, every 5kg (around 11 pounds) I do something such as a little pampering (manicure, facial), buy myself some flowers. My new thing is buying beads for every kg and I'm going to make a necklace out of them eventually. 29 beads, only around 37 more to go!

for my first mini goal "my birthday 24 May" , it's a day in the Spa .. facial, Morrocan Bath, nails... and a different hair cut... and a stunning dress for teh night ....
but ..ummm having these mini rewards... seems a nice way...

My reward will be a full sleeve of tattoos reminding me of how I became over-weight. I am going to do a sleeve of candies, ice cream cookies...all in super bright colours. Also, hopefully we will go to Paris for xmas since I want to weigh around 80kilo by then.
