Well, Linda - that is good news bad news. Have you considered starting to drink red wine to fix that LDL (Lousy Damned Lipids)?
Works for me. Anyhow, Harry is on Lipitor and his levels are good now. You may want to try the meds before the wine cure!
All this chat about the American Thanksgiving! If I were not going out west just before that, I'd be inclined to sneak over the border for Turkey Day! I love turkey - particularly the smell of it roasting! Guess I'll have to wait for Christmas now.
Lucy did OK at class today and graduated with the rest of the furries. So silly! Diploma, biscuit and class picture! She will miss seeing her pals every Friday but we have set a couple of "play dates" - I wonder if we will follow through. Next training for Lucy is strict show training with the Trainer/Handler. I sure hope that does not start until after Christmas as she will be going away to "boot camp" and I will miss her tremendously. (She got Hersh and me up at 3 for a pee/poo break but we all got back to sleep for once. I think her new dog food is throwing her off schedule.)
MamaJ - you are having such a tough time of it! I hope things settle down soon - well, I hope they stay perky but you know what I mean.
Robin, that twig furniture looks so wonderful outdoors and can even be comfy if you give it the butt test as you work on it. I took a workshop years ago and made a loveseat - it was hard work, hard on the hands but fun.
Sue, so sorry that work and home are both stressful! Do you still have your European student? Extra people in the pack can certainly change dynamics.
The "lads" have had a wonderful deer hunting season! My friend Art is coming around with "steaks" for us. Last year the so-called steaks were marinated forever and ended up in a stew which only Harry and Hershey ate. I don't have a problem eating Bambi or Thumper usually but that stuff was awful! At least venison is low carb!
We are BBQing tonight because it is above freezing - a marinated flank steak! Must be sure DH takes the good flashlight because it sure is dark out there. I can hardly wait for the winter solstice when it starts to get brighter instead of darker.
Have a good weekend with some good ME stuff!
