I'm in the process of moving, and today I'm donating 3 big bags of fat clothes to the thrift store.

I'm thrilled to be doing this. I'm nervous, not really because I'm nervous about gaining the weight back ("Constant vigilance!") but because I'm a major pack rat, and who knows when you'll need a size XXL black hoodie?

Also, I lived a lot of life in those clothes. I'm not sad to see the plus sizes go, but I'm sad to see a tangible reminder of my life go.

But go they must! No more 16/18s for me!

I too am a packrat. Hoarding actually runs in my family. I wouldn't say I'm a hoarder but I probably have potential to be. But I also have really strong attachments to things. I have a backpack I wore through out most of my time at school that I still have haha. I really need to pitch it.

But good for you for giving the clothes away, someone else can use them now. I need to do the same, actually. I used to have so many clothes-- now I don't know where any of them went! It's sort of worrying, since I can't REMEMBER getting rid of any of them lol.
