So today is my first day on Celebrex and Cymbalta
I have no pain or very little pain for the first time in 2 + years (shall we say forever?)
I also have no desire to eat. Ran Errands at lunch even ran to the grocery to get something to drink passed by all the usual food desires healthy and non and wanted Nothing
I did have some cottage cheese and pumpkins seeds for lunch but
even passed the mini lunchables
Perhaps not feeling like abject poop takes away my need to graze
Something to ponder
Kierie
that's a possibility, but cymbalta might be helping this along. it's a dual norepineprine and serotonin reuptake inhibitor. and congratulations!!! one of the side effects is decreased appetite!!!
enjoy it!!!

I took the cymbalta in the afternoon it made me somewhat hurlicious. I've since decided to take it at night to sleep off the yucky side effects its made my muscles loose.
Its funny tho nothing tastes good I made Mac and cheese (big no no I know) from scratch last night James had a bad day and he said it was great but it didn't have a taste for me!
I'm not complaining b/c it's day 2 of feeling good and I've NEVER had 2 days of feeling good.
off to the races!
Kierie
this is the BEST!!! congratulations!!!!

KO, That is wonderful and I mean REALLY wonderful! I think it has been years since I've been painless. How is the celebrax treating your pouch? They tried to talk me into the cymbalta, but I pooh-poohed the idea. People just don't get it when you tell them you are in pain every moment of your life. Wait.....did you say it took away your appetite!!! Maybe I should reconsider!!!! LOL!!! I went off of my Mirapex, a restless leg medicine, after three years because I hate it, and now my DH is getting the heck beat out of him. I was up for four hours last night and kicking my legs like some Radio City Music Hall Chorus girl!!!!! I'm getting ready to take a swing class with my DH........WTHWIT! Anyway, it will be two nights a week for a month, so maybe the restless leg thingy will come in handy. I just hope my DH doesn't have to swing me over his head or on the floor between his legs! LOL!

Nan so far the pouch is ok with the celebrex. I can honestly say I have no pain and very little appetite
On Saturday DH and I did t he Mickey D's run on the way up to PA
I ate 1/2 the inside of my double cheese burger (not a great choice) at half I was full wrapped it up and shoved it back in the bag
Cymbalta makes me crave water which I normally don't
so we'll see I have to get used to the loose muscles So I can exercise again
