Ruth, I am glad that basement is getting cleaned up! What kind of quilt are you making for your bed? I love quilting and I wish I had more spare time to do it.
Cat, I'm so excited to hear that your daughter came into town! What fun! Have a great time together!
Cyndi, I'm sorry your house smells funny. I often will almost use curry instead of cumin. I always double check.
Mmckellen, yay for finding a spring challenge idea! Good luck for your weigh in!
Karen, I hope you find a really yummy salad for lunch today! I had a bizarre dream, too. A friend came over with a quilt for me as Secret Santa present and I didn't really like it but I pretended to because I could tell she'd put a lot of work into it. Odd. I don't even know if this friend sews!
Heidi, I'm glad you're feeling better! Hope it just continues to get better and better!
Linda, it sounds like you'll need ten hours this morning to get all of your things done! I hope you can fit it all in!
Debbie, I need to clean out my fridge, too. There are leftovers in there from Christmas and that's just ridiculous. Someone should slap my wrist.
Tammie, I like your ticker! Congrats!
Jenn, good luck at the doctor!
Schmoodle, good job staying on plan! That was some intense temptation you faced!
I have had the busiest day ever I think! I woke up at 5:00 so I could do my yoga before the kids got up and then I made them waffles and cut up some grapefruit for their breakfasts. Kadyn had a field trip at school today so I had to get the girls to Kindergarten early, which worked out because my friend's aerobics classes were today so I would've had to drop them off earlier than normal anyhow. Kadyn went to see Peter and the Wolf. There were twelve four and five year olds and two teachers who took the train into the city to see the show! What an adventure!!! After I dropped off the girls (Connor was already at school), I shoveled the sidewalk from the snow that fell last night and then went to aerobics class. We did Zumba first and it was SUCH fun! Then we did a power sculpt class and then a pilates class. I had to leave before the capiora class because I needed to get back home. I had to get a shower before my parent-teacher conference with Connor's teacher. That went well (the shower and the conference). He got reprimanded for not paying attention and for rushing through his work but got praised for his excellent reading skills, which always makes me proud because German is not his first language. She also said that he's excelling in math and science. No surprises there. We got the girls on the way home from the conference and I made lunch (mock cornbread and some chili) and then Connor had his violin lesson. We're about to head out the door to run some errands before Connor's martial arts this afternoon. I have to go to the bank to cash some checks so I can pay for the girls' dance class, which has sign-ups today and then I have to stop at the chapel and do some paperwork for my job. Whew! I think I will sleep well tonight!!!
Tomorrow is Tom's promotion ceremony and I am so excited! He made Master Sergeant this year, which is a huge deal. There were very few selected in his career field and it's a big pay jump.
Better get going. I'll be back on tonight, if I don't fall asleep as soon as I walk in the door!
