Hi guys, I've been on this site for a while but thought I'd join the preggo section.
I'm 25 going on 26 (DH is 31) and this is our first human baby (we have a spoiled Shiba Inu dog), due date is June 3, 2010.
I'm in year
6 of maintenance (!), I went from around 155-160lbs @ 5'5 to about 118lbs @ 5'5 for about 5 years (pre-preggo weight). I'm now 132lbs. My bodyfat was fairly low when I conceived (I've transitioned into weight lifting for a few years, hoping to compete in figure/bodybuilding one day), so I needed the extra padding!
I have to admit, seeing the scale after 1 year of losing and then 5 years of maintaining is a little scary, but I hope to be on the ball after. I still exercise every day.
skinnywish~ I know your fear too, my mom gave birth to my stillborn brother at 7/8 months with "no known cause"(? - although this was 1980 so maybe now they would've known a cause), it is quite scary. Most of all, those things are usually not genetic, so pray for the best

1st trimester is so scary, I'm glad to be out of it.
