  • Hey Ladies. Let's post some positive things we did today, no matter how monumentous or miniscule.

Today, I did 10 of tae-bo (not including the stretching after not working out for about a month. i was winded and sweaty and short of breath but gosh darnit 10 minutes is a good start!
  • Last night for my night shift in the office I brought a big lunchbox of cooked veggies for lunch. Those, and one bowl of all bran cereal kept me full and away from the vending machine all night through my 11 hour shift

And now I'm going to treat myself to a big long sleep
  • i ran 5 miles yesterday and finished in 56:21
  • Today I have not binged!
  • Today I stir fried my veggies in water instead of oil
  • I worked out for 1 hour and 40 minutes...when i usually never work out at all...

Oh, and I definitely got on a treadmill for the first time in my life and made it a whole hour at a 0% incline and a speed between 3.0-3.3....which probably isn't that great, but before today, I was totally scared of treadmills...so that's a big accomplishment for me =D
  • Today I got on the scale after being afriad of it for over a month! I joined a gym, and I worked out for an hour and a half! I took my puppy for a walk!!
  • Well, this has nothing to do with weightloss but my grades were posted today and....STRAIGHT A'S!!!! I was pretty excited because usually I'll get all A's and one B or B+. But not this time. Law school here I come!
  • I went to an hour long yoga class and THEN did an additional 20 mins of cardio on this weird elliptical-like bouncy thing my gym has (It's INTENNNSE though...whew!)

Now the bf and I are making pumpkin pasta...soooo goooooddddd.

But I'm proud of myself for getting on the elliptical after a REALLY leg-heavy challenging workout!
  • I didn't binge or overeat, I ran 2 miles this morning, and went to the gym again tonight for strength training and yoga!

  • I did an hour on the elliptical today I was so happy
  • I didn't buy any junk food at work today!!!
  • I love seeing all the small victories on this thread! We should all remember to look back at this when we're feeling down. It can be an extra burst of motivation and a reminder that we can push through anything! :-)
  • I donated blood and afterward, had a sensible granola bar and an orange, instead of a doughnut.
  • I went to the gym- and that is an amazing feat itself
