Had a wonderful and relaxing weekend visiting Richland Center, WI. I waved at Dondar as I flew over Michigan! I connected for Madison in Detroit and am sure I walked a mile in that airport from Terminal C to Terminal A. How the heck do old people do it - walk that distance, I mean.
Noranora and I travel well together even if she does tease me about driving slowly. Actually I got stopped for speeding 20 miles from home yesterday - just got a warning - probably because I knew the cop and his grandmother! I love country life!
We ate, hung out, ate, visited The House on the Rock, ate, laughed, ate, checked out gardens, ate....you get the picture. I will not regale you with what we ate - let's just say that fries and chocolate and pecan pie were in there. The damage is only 1/2 pound so I am not discouraged and am back OP as of this morning. I even had black coffee because DH did not buy milk over the weekend - grrrrrr! He also didn't wipe a counter or sweep a floor but he petted Hershey lots.

Oh well! Lucy had fun at Morna's but has developed the submissive peeing habit! *****y drawers will have a comment at class on Friday, no doubt.
I start into heavy duty Fair work today so won't be around much. I intend to do two hours gardening every morning BEFORE I go to the office and maybe work in a walk at the same time.
You know, my suitcase is still packed and I am soooo tempted to take off for Hotlanta but it can't happen. You chickies are going to have a ball! Remember that pictures are a must and can be posted on the Yahoo "Extra Coop" site. Send me your email and Yahoo ID if you don't already belong and I'll register you.
Annie - Sam'sgrandma is right! Be insistent and you can stay with your Dad when he has his MRI - I did when DH had his. And try to relax, sweetie - this is your summer holiday!
Debkay, ice that hip and see the Doc if it does not get better fast. Darn doggies really screw us up sometimes - my shoulder/arm thing is still giving me major pain.
Sue, sorry your job does not start as soon as you thought. Hang in there! I keep looking at the map and thinking about driving down to see you for a coffee or lunch sometime in August. Can you tell I have the travel bug?
Gotta get going and start the three weeks from ****! FAir prep for the next 9 days, the Fair for 4 days (7 to 11), and about a week of recovery and writing prize cheques. I will just keep saying to myself that I will not be doing this next summer!
Have ahappy Tuesday, Chickie Babes!
