Are you ready for the Weekend?

  • Okay ladies,

    It is friday are you ready for the weekend? I am. I am going to start over again come tomorrow. I had a terrible night last night at weigh in. I thought I did so good but I didn't exercise half as much as I had been. I cut back to 1 x a day this past week. I ended up gaining 3 1/4 lbs last night. It was the final week of the traveling gift. I would have been able to open it last night if I only had a loss or turtle. But I gained instead.

    I did the meeting last night because the leader had to go to a wake. We honored our first Tops Member of the Month last night. I took the rededication ceremony and changed it to fit a dedication ceremony for our tops member of the month. I gave the tops member a purple candle and all the other members had a smaller white candle. They all took part and had a saying to say and lit their candle off of the tops member of the months candle and formed a circle around her. I presented her with a certificate and took her picture and we will start hanging up the pictures with a nice background that the leader made on a corkboard I brought in.
    I also gave her 2 carnations. She was very surprised and she loved the ceremony. I got to do the ceremony because the leader wasn't there. I hope she continues with the ceremony every month it really makes that person feel special and honored. I thought by making a circle around her it would show her that we all support her. I needed 12 people to take a part. We had just enough people to do the ceremony. So it worked out great.

    I am going to take my daughter and my nephew to see dragon tails live today. We should have a great time.

    Gotta go get ready and wake them up we have to leave in an hour and I am not ready yet.

    Hi Ladies
    Just checking in. Congrats to all the "losers" on the board. That is great. For the ones of us who gain. We can do this. We just need to start making better choices, writing down what we eat, drinking the water, weighing and measuring. Now I just need to take my own advice
    Dont seem possible that it is Fri already. And that June is half over. Where is time going?

    Sherri Dont worry about your gain. You will get it off. I know you can do this. You have it in you. Just think with all the exercise you may be gaining some muscle now. And that weighs more than fat. Just keep up the good work.

    Eleni Thanks for starting the challenge again. I didnt do very well on the last one. But I will try and do better for this one. I am not going to set a certain amout. Just to be "lighter" in 4 weeks.

    Wendy Hope everything is settling down for you. Think of you often.

    To all the other ladies. I think of all of you. Hoping that all are doing well. Just remember "One bite at a time"

    Stop and start today and every day new. We have the power with in our selves to achieve our goals. I know we do. Everyone of us is worth it. We just have to do it. We just have to have think that we are worth it. We have to keep this up. We can do it.
    coco, thanks things are starting to slow down, but i'm making them. I'm doing my exercising for the time being. One day at a time. Let's make this thing happen. Lets make it work for us.
