We're nearing a time in the year that I'm sure is very difficult for alot of people, so lets show each other upliftment and support.
Enjoy your week!

ok well i'm definitely joining this challenge. i've been slipping up big time these last few weeks and really lost my motivation. i've binged way more times these past few weeks than i care to even count. but that's the past. i'm putting it behind me and looking forward.
i am making a conscious effort to not binge at all for this entire week...

dmc - this thread is really an old friend, its not so much a challenge as a thread to show support to those with a binge problem. Come in when you feel like a natter or you can post your own challeneges if you want.

hello all... so I was around here for a while..then I stopped. Since that time I had gotten down to 150.. I lost motivation and am back up to 158..
And today I didn't start my day out good.. We ran to a Tim Horton's.. the coffee was fine.. but without me asking my hubby ordered me a Honey Cruller..
I just looked up the calorie content: 320, 19g fat, 37g carb!!!!!!
I found a website that has healthier alternatives when I go to a Tim Hortons if I want something more than just coffee.
I was trying for around 1300cals.. I think I'll be around 1500...
So today I've had: 14oz milk, 12 oz coffe (1 cream, 1 splenda)... the honey cruller.
I made lunch for us that we'll be eating later: homemade soup by me, and tuna sandwich, some veggies. and then later some chocolate milk to keep me up on protein. (we eat on the go, we drive for work)
this is my first official day back on track!! and it didn't start out so hot...

I am hoping to make it day 1 today. My husband's leftover birthday cake is taunting me from the kitchen.

Welcome to dmc,stellart & tdiprincess.
Day 6 and still on track.

Hi, it's my first day here and first day of trying to control the bingeing (as is every monday!) So far so good, I bought a cross trainer and spend 30 mins on it, did not binge as I've been kept busy on here!!
-
Am 3 weeks binge free, and starting the fourth.
Started the day off well, with exercise, both on the treadmill, then some yoga.
doing ok with food. I am off work this week, so either having more time for cooking and exercise will make things better, or I will go crazy with the desire to binge. Planning to start work on the kitchen tonite, hope I can get it done for Christmas.

Fatmad, 3 weeks, that's awesome.
I'm glad I found this site. I was thisclose to a binge tonight. Did great all day, but driving home i just wanted to skip my workout and dive into champagne and chocolate and sugarsugarsugar.
Actually started talking to myself out loud in the car when I was almost home, informed myself the day was over and it was now about me and to be good to myself. It worked, I kept on track and did a workout.

Ok... well this would be day seven. I didn't do perfect yesterday, but I didn't binge either. I'm at least happy about that. A family member came over yesterday and just out of the blue started yelling at everyone.. I wanted to just eat and eat, but I didn't. I ate a bit more than I have been, but I didn't go overboard into a binge.

The rest of my day was better after the donut incident.........
I packed our lunch, made tuna sandwiches and grabbed some of the soup I made. Grabbed a couple small york peppermint patties and a couple hershey kisses for a small treat, haven't had them yet, saving them for my treat with our movie!! Well, better get going...
My plan for food tomorrow:
Chocolate milk and toast for breakfast
soup and sandwich for lunch
skinless chicken breast seasoned some how, veggies and salad for dinner
a couple candies for dessert... and I will try hard to stick to that...
some coffee in there somewhere too!

I need to be binge free, that's how I gained my weight back, eating like a PIG. NO MORE.
-
It's such a bad cycle...I eat because I'm depressed I'm overweight, which makes me even more depressed...and there's only one way out - I know - STOP BINGING AND LOSE WEIGHT - but the control of the food is sooo much stronger. Hopefully this week!!

Blondie, in my experience there are usually underlying roots, like bad self image or lack of confidence which need to be adressed. I know alot of research has found that people with binge eating disorder usually have low confidence, so maybe that could be something you try to improve if its a problem?
I literally binged for three days straight, I'm going strong this morning, it's that damn chocolate I ate about a week ago it started me off and I havent stopped since.
