Hi and thanks for starting this thread. I find the activity a little on the light side here. After losing 70 pounds doing Medifast, I just started Phase I on Monday and it's been extremely easy for me. I do have this little voice in my head that keeps telling me I'm eating too much since I wasn't allowed to eat fruit, dairy products, brown rice, etc. on Medifast. I just love the idea of eating real, whole foods. Here is my menu for yesterday. Any and all suggestions and comments are welcome!
B - 1 cup oatmeal w/soy milk and 1 packet pink stuff
decaf green tea w/splash of soy milk and 2 packets pink stuff
S - 6 oz low fat yogurt with 1/2 banana and blueberries and 1 packet pink
stuff
L - 3/4 cup brown rice w/curried spinach and chickpeas and tofu
S - apple
D - 1 cup Eggbeaters omlette w/peppers & onions, spinach salad with
mushrooms, 2 teaspoons olive oil & champagne vinegar
S - 1 cup soy milk smoothie w/blueberries and 1 packet pink stuff
My total consumption of soy milk didn't total 2 cups nor did my consumption of pink stuff total 3 tablespoons so I think I'm okay. This basically was also my menu for Monday. And naturally, I did 30 minutes of Walk Away The Pounds each day.
I'm hoping that lots of people post here so that I can get some good menu ideas! I love to cook so I'm also interested in lots of recipes.
I would also like to say that everyone here is so friendly and supportive. I also did WW a while ago and still visit their message boards (CORE) and those people are ridiculous. Some of them think they're the be all, end all authority on doing the program and are so rude and nasty. It's refreshing to find a group of people who just want to help one another!
