Yoga

  • I am looking for anyone else who is doing Yoga for exercise
  • I do yoga almost every morning and I love it! I am not an exercise queen and this is my main form of workout. Oh yeah I looked funny when I started and it took me awhile to get used to some of the poses and still have trouble with the more advanced ones, but what a difference since day one! I have built up good strength, improved my balance, and my body feels great! I can really feel the difference if I miss a couple of days! Are you looking for some advice, some support, or just someone in general to share with?
  • I used to go. I am trying to get back into going. Maybe tonight if I can figure out a light snack beforehand.
  • Yes! Yoga is amazing! I am going through alot in my life right now and yoga is really helping me. I do lots of different workouts...have for a long time...I still do cardio because I need it as well...(I get the endorphin rush...and I like to eat!) But yoga has become a very necessary part of my day. I feel it if I miss even a day. It is helping aches and pains that have become increasingly worse as I have gotten older (not even that old! 37!) I was having problems with my neck, back, and shoulders. Now, things have much improved and I have only been practicing regularly for a couple of weeks... I have seen more improvement in my upper body strength, core definition, and inches lost than with any other workout I have done. I am completely sold on yoga... My family thinks I am obsessed (but in the good way!)
