12 Week Challenge - Week # 10 Nov. 12 - 18

  • Hey the Challengettes -

OK so the week is almost over and Thanksgiving is around the corner.

Here we are at WEEK # 10

Week 10???? Where did the months go?

We all have some pretty interesting challenges happening and from this point on it's going to get even more fun...

We've been really good about focusing on each tough issue and taking action to prevent any or too much backsliding. And a number of you poster gals have even lost weight!

I know I'm repeating myself - but what is going to get you through next week? What's going to be your Anchor?
  • I have a picture of what I looked like last time I was at goal -- I was a skinny 120 believe it or not! Actually it shows me looking at my WW tracker. It is a good anchor because while I doubt I will ever see 120 again, it shows me that by journaling and sticking to program I can get back to goal, which I'm setting at 135 this time around.
  • Way to go Myra. That's a good one.

For me I've got a shiny glass pebble that my WW leader gave us 4 years ago. I still have it in my wallet. But I think I need another one. Something that's going to make me think and stop.

With all that's been happening this week for me and my family, I have not been journaling or really tracking. I weighed my self yesterday and it looks like I'm down a pound. But I can't guarantee my parents scale is accurate.

This is only a "guesstimate" for this past week

    M - 23
    T -- 23
    W -- 25
    Th -- 30
    F --- 24
    Sa - 25
    Su - 24

Two hours of high activity - earned 7 points
  • I'm putting in my numbers (scary, really) soon, but i did weigh in and I'm the same, but up a 1.8# from before I went to germany. I am not amused.

So, back to the gym, back to water and back to eating like a normal person.

    good luck Patch!

Myra, I gotta ask, do you cook all the Asian food you eat yourself or do you go out for meals? It looks so delicious!

    lala
  • Here is my very, very stressful week. A bit on the high side, but I did exercise as well. Let you know tomorrow night what the scale has to say.

    Mon 25
    Tues 25
    Wed 25
    Thur 25
    Fri 25
    Sat 22
    Sun 23

    Range: 20-25
  • The Japanese is either take out from Stop and Shop supermarket or at our local Japanese restaurant although I'm tempted on trying to make it myself some day. Anyone have a good recipe for seaweed salad? I do make edamame at home. That's easy. I get it frozen from the health food store.
  • I knew I was eating high. Gained .8 this week. Actually not all that bad for a stressful week.
