Thanks for all your good wishes, folks. So far I haven't seen any really bonny men, wee or otherwise, but a great many very friendly and HELPFUL men and women. This is when I thank my late mother for her gregarous personality which must have rubbed off on me. I find if I approach people with a smile and look really pathetic, they will bend over backwards to help me out finding my way around. In restaurants, on buses, street corners, museums and shops, everyone has been really wonderful. The weather here may be chilly, but the people most definitely are some of the warmest I've ever met.
