Default Hello All! New Here. Trying the BFL, any advice or suggestions?

I started 3 days ago and I'm exhausted. I figure it'll get better after time. I want to succeed so badly, that I refuse to fail. So any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I love this site its so informative.

Hi RenewedSpirit Good for you for starting! Being exhausted at first is probably to be expected if you aren't used to that much physical exertion. Just make sure you are getting proper nutrition, adequate sleep, water, and maybe a multi-vitamin.

Keep on keepin' on!

And depending on how you were eating before you started, you could be feeling the withdrawals of sugar and caffeine, and other quick energy fixes that you used to enjoy. Usually the first 4 days are the worst and by day 5 things are better.

The best advice I can give you is to take photos to chart your progress. Front, back AND side. Even when the scale isn't moving, and you don't think your clothes are getting any looser, the photos will be telling - you'll see yourself shrinking all around.

And, don't rely on the scale to judge your progress - you'll gain muscle while you lose fat, so the scale may not move much in the beginning. Have faith, don't get discouraged, keep it up, and you will see results.
Cindy

PS - by the time you hit week 4 you'll feel better than you have in years!
