I was down two pounds from my vacation gain last week. I think it would have been better, but we went to see the pirates of the Carribean yesterday and I had more than one handful of salty popcorn!

Sean is off to band camp today and Rachel and I are going back to school shopping. Wish me luck! I would love to find some good deals and good attitudes all around for a fun day!

Have a great day!

Good morning from Hot Missouri!!!! Its going to be a good day to stay in. I'm so excited I'm finally losing weight. Stepped on the scales this morning and I'm down 3 lbs. WOOPIE! At last!!! My eating has been good. My DH got the treadmill all cleared off yesterday of all the junk and I even walked 5 min. on it. (due to heart problems it takes me awhile to build up) So I've started my day off right....

Thin- A great big congrads on your 2 lb. loss. Happy shopping.

Monet- Hope you get your treadmill going but you seem to exercise so much already.

Off I go. Be back later...

Good morning! I got Tom's cold and am feeling puny. I did not get any exercise in yet, as my throat is sore, and I just don't feel like it. I might later. Justin just went out and got breakfast...and brought me a chicken biscuit. Shame on me for eating it, but it was awfully good!

I will check back in later!

Yet another monday pregnant. That's all I have to say about that. I am 41 weeks today.

Over the weekend We went to the Butterfly festival, I did water aerobivs every day since friday, but I ate HORRIBLY. I've now gained 21 lbs total, but some of it is due to swelling. I almost have a panic attack looking at my feet. My feet and hands look like Shrek. It is REALLY freaking me out. I want to cry just because it looks so scary.

I'm trying to keep the swelling down. I just got back form the Y,a nd I stayed in the water an extra 30 minutes to kick laps with the kickboard back aond forth. I shaved my legs, once again with the hopes that it would be the LAST TIME I would have to maneuver around the belly. I'm trying to eat a ton of fiber, drink a lot of water and detox tea. and stay off of my feet so much. We'll see if that helps the throbbing and swelling.

Monet- I'm sorry you aren't feeling so well. Get some rest and don't worry about the Chicken Biscuit. It WAS chickfila, right? Nothing tempts me like those darn biscuits... except maybe the current craving for S'mores..

Toni- Great job on the 3lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I found the lbs you lost. THat's how much I gained this week

Thin- How was teh movie? I want to see it, to see if the boat we snuck on is in this one. It may be in the 3rd movie, becasue they filmed both together in the Bahamas. I just CAN'T force myself to sit in a theater with the way my body aches.

TALITHA: I WISH! There is a Chic-fil-et right by us, but the crazy boy drove miles to a Mrs. Winner's. Hey, I am not going to complain about it...it was a gift. Hang in there...99.99999% of babies are born eventually...ok, ok, 100%!

Happy Monday,

Thin, congrats on the loss,

Toni, glad to see you are losing. Great motivation. Take that :tm: slow now.

Monet, so sorry you have Tom's cold. Feel better. It's chicken soup, not chicken bisquits. LOL

Talitha, sorry to see you still around, but glad to have you here. Watch that swelling, what does your dr say about it?

Bob, hope you are feeling better today.

Well I have a confession to make. Saturday I joined Weight Watchets. Now before you all throw things at me, I'll explain. Due to the meds I take, the wt will not budge. Plus I am tired of doing great all week and blowing it on the weekends. I know what to do but I think I need some type of accountability. So I hope that by going to the meetings, it will make be accountable. I am doing their Core plan which is basically SB. I will give it a few week and see how it works. I hate paying that money for something I know how to do. Hopefully, it will get me back on track. Plus I am trying to get both my daughters to do it too. They really need to lose and I thought doing it together might help. One is on board, just have to get the other one. I hope I can still report in here too. I would miss all of you terribly.

Weekend was not busy. Layed on a raft in the pool on Saturday and yesterday helped DH cut the grass, I washed 2 cars and swept out the garage. I feel like I got enough exercise for sure.

I went to our local produce market and bought tons of fresh fruits and veggies. So I have no excuse.

Got to run, our payroll girl is on vacation, so I am doing her job too this wee. Have a great day.

Good afternoon everyone. Eating has been fine so far today. But I seem to be hungry today. I always have thought the second week is the hardest. Will bite the bullet and get through it. The humity is so high its sure giving me a hard time. Don't know what it is that does that to me. Anyway my DH is eating SB to and lost 7.5 this week. I'm so happy for him.

Solly- I sure don't blame you for going to WW. I would to if we had one around here. There used to be but not anymore. Good luck with it. Those week ends are awful for me too.

Monet- I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. Get some rest and hopefully soon you'll be your old self...

Talitha- Poor you!!! Hang in there gal. That baby just isn't ready....

Okay off I go....

I need to get in bed...I am worse now than I was this morning. Now my throat and chest ache. I am up way too late, because I sat and chatted with Laura for over an hour... Long story, but it was a good thing to do. Lots of tension at times...

Tom is already in bed asleep...so sweet dreams all!

Hello all! We had a good shopping day today, lots of good deals. For those with a Kohls around, they have their clearance merchandise for half off the clearanced price! Rachel got three skirts and two pairs of capri pants for school for between $8-12 each. I thought that was a great deal. Then we found some tennis shoes at payless for $10.00. She only wears them on PE days, so no need ot spend a lot for them. She has flip flops or boots, etc that she normally wears. I also broke down and got her two pair of pants at JCP. We are no where near needing pants down here, but they were cute and fit her well.

Sean seemsto have had a good day at band camp. We got to see their uniforms tonight and they are really nice. This is a new high school, so they have never had a band before. They are going with a Beatles theme this year and halftime will include Yesterday, Hard Days Night, Elanor Rigby and of course, the fight song. I can't wait to see them!

SO, this week I'm trying reverse psycology on my baby-belly. I'm scheduling as much activity as possible, so that eventually I may not make it to something? It's worth a try...

FOr today we have Blueberry picking at 8:30am, swimming at my mom's, possibly the Aquarium? Tomorrow is the Zoo...

Morning...I feel much worse today. My throat is really sore and my chest is feeling pretty tight. I am going to go down to the kitchen and heat up a can of chicken noodle soup for breakfast.. Pretty bad, huh?

TALITHA: At least you will be too busy to sit around and mope! Where are you going blueberry picking? My blueberries are ripening, but the birds are getting to them before me. I went out with a bowl yesterday and there were no ripe ones! Disgusting! And you would think all the kitties in the yard would help! Nope! The birds don't care that there are three or four cats sleeping just below the berries!

SOLLY: I did not want to forgetto address your 'confession'. Weight Watchers Core is essentially the same as Sugarbusters. If going to meetings for the accountability helps get you on track, great! However, if you think we will let you switch to the WW CORE forum, and leave us, you have another think coming. You belong here. We love you, and know you. Don't forget that!
