Default kick it up a notch challenge

Okay for the next two days wednesday and thursday no emotional eating. If you can do it 5 points to add to thursdays total points. The point is to try to find another way to deal with the stress at least for these 2 days. If you succeed lets hear about how you did it!

I actually have the opposite problem with stress -- I quit eating. During that two weeks with John and I earlier this month, I was lucky to get 1,000 calories a day (I count calories and my normal is 1,800 to 2,000).

I eat out of boredom so how about if my emotional eating stoppage is when I get bored?

Okay so how about no emotional eating or noneating. We have all learned how important it is to kick start our metabolism first thing in the morning by eating and then to keep it going by eating mostly healthy foods every 3 hours. So the challenge is to have a plan for your meals and snacks and to stick with it for the next 2 days. I am not worried about timing right now just that you ate what you actually planned to eat wednesday and thursday!5 points if you can do it! We have to learn to find alternatives to emotional eating and non eating as well as boredom and stresses.

I am ready too! I have my meals planned. The emotional eating at night is the hard part for me. I am trying to do positive affirmations to help with this!

AM snack was yogurt. Breakfast was a gluten free roll with strawberries and cantaloupe. Lunch is sliced veggies with ham and cheese and flax crackers. Afternoon snack is cherries and low-fat microwave popcorn. Dinner is steak, corn and salad or green beans or both.

Hey everyone,

I think we need to clarify the point system for the Kick it up a Notch portion. Do we get the 5 points everyday? I didn't think so. I think at this point for the week there is a total of 10 points for 2 kick it up challenges. One on Sunday and one tomorrow. Is that correct? Are some of you adding the 5 points everyday?
