Default Hi!

I was looking around for some receipes and found you!
I joined tops 7 weeks ago and am really enjoying it. I had a 110 lbs to loose and so far I have lost 24 lbs. At first it was falling off, but I seem to have settled down to 1.5 lbs per week. I am determined to get fit and stay that way. I was never overweight until I quit smoking, and have never really dieted until now. It is hard. I picked up pizza for my family on Friday and the smell almost drove me crazy. The urge to pull over and wolf down 1/2 a pizza was almost overwhelming! Thank goodness I hit all green lights on the way home. The pizza was ordered because of poor planning on my part, so I will try not to let that happen again but if I find do find myself dinnerless, subs will be on the menu. Any other family pleasing fast food ideas for those rushed days would be greatly appreciated!

Good luck to you all!

Default hi flatlander and welcome

hi there, the way i do it is that i would have a piece of piza. when i knew i couldn't have something that is when i would crave it.i eat everything and then my mind is not on food.even kenetucky fried chicken with the skin. i have only half of a breast with the skin(or 1 piece without the skin.with me this time i stoped thinking about food but i know you want to lose fast but it will only get you upset. by losing slowly(even 1/2 lb a week) it will come off.you have to think of it as a different way of eating.just eat less. i am only telling you what worked for me and everyone is different.hope this helps a little. top hugs jinky

Default Thanks Jinky,

Thanks Jinky,

I tried it tonight at my daughters birthday party and it worked very well!! I had a small piece of cake, and a tiny portion of her special dinner. So far I have not imploded or gone bizerk from noshing on those "forbidden" foods, so I guess I have more will power than I gave myself credit for. Congrats to you for your
Kops status too!!! (small sigh of envy) Someday.............
