Default Mon June 12

It sure is quiet on this board these days......

I have a very busy week ahead. Michelle is graduating 8th grade. It is a big deal since she has been in the school for 11 years - since 3 yr old preK. It is going to be VERY emotional for me. I can't believe my little girl is going to high school!!! It all went by just too fast! Anyhow, we have class night on Wed night, graduation on Friday night and a dinner dance for the graduates and parents on Sat night. She also has a "mini" dance recital on Thursday night. (the real recital isn't until Jun 25). So I will be running every which way this week.

Somehow, ny DH got the treadmill to work. So my goal is to get on that as much as possible this week. I should be able to find the time each day this week except maybe Wed. I am taking Thur off from work and Friday is my day off anyhow, so I will make it a point to use it during the day those two days. Mon and Tues night, I will make the time to use it! The schedule doesn't look too bad for these two nights. After this week, things should really start to settle down for the summer. I figure if I use the treadmill 4 or 5 times a week, plus get back to my water and more healthy eating, I should be able to get the scale to start moving in the right direction. I am tired of thinking about it and not doing anything!

So is anybody else around today? How goes your battle? Susan, how does it feel to get back to the normal routine? How is John feeling?

Question

Hi ladies, Well I did a WI this a.m. and I have finally lost all my excess lbs. from vacation. I am at the Calorie Counters here at WFS now, but I will keep tabs on all my friends here.

I wrote in another post that I believe you all need to pick a new moderator since Laurie has left. Someone who will be dedicated to coming here every day and keeping this site up and running. We worked very hard to make this a good site and I, for one, hate to see it falling apart.

We all need each others support and we have lost so many members here is one of the reasons why I switched....I think maybe some would return if we got active again. I know I would return.

Have a good week everyone....Phyllis

Thats great that your hubby got your treadmill up! I know you can get yourself motivated to loose!

I, on the other hand, have not been motivated at all. I gained 2 lbs a couple of weeks ago, and have not been able to get myself into gear. I have 3 kids in baseball, and each child has 2 games durring the week and usually a practice on the weekend....I have maybe 1 night durring the week that I can cook something decent...This is going to continue till the middle of July, then they go into the playoffs...I have no idea what that is going to be like. At least I haven't gained more...and I hope I can still say that in the middle of July!

Good luck Phyllis with your calorie counting! I hope that does well for your type of diet restrictions.
