There's a few. I'm an ex sw member lost 3 stone then stopped going and put it back on. It does work if you stick to it (and even if you cheat a bit). I may be joining again soon ish.

There's another sw thread here if you want to read it.

Yes I am a member. I have taken out a 12 weeks for 10 thingy - it is better for me to pay ahead - keeps me turning up and don't have the worry of being able to afford it each week. I have been very bad for a while but it is the best thing I have done diet wise. I always have green days because of being a veggie.

I'm a member.
I've been cheating this week though, I just had a miserable couple of weeks. Not cheated lots, but it means me having to live off of salad until weigh day! But that's ok, it's too hot for hot food!

I did sw last year and did great I lost 1 stone in about a month and a half!!! but then xmas came and my diet went!!!! I have been struggling to do it properly again - I am not really into the class thing I have found it very patrionising at times but I guess that is a personal thing for me.
I want to start on my own this week again as I have tons to loose!!
Any words of advise would be fab as well as encouragement!!!
I know that sw does work and it is more of a lifestyle than a diet as you can cheat a little and still be OK!!!
Especially if you have a massive appetite like me!!!!

Yeah I get weighed on Tuesday too. Not been too bad this weekend. Had a Japanese meal at a friend's house. I think it is very light calorie wise although I did have a few packs of crisps over the weekend and a can of lager, oh and some wine cos my frined's neighbour's son had a birthday. I had already eaten so did not eat anything there - anyway it was caribbean and very meat orientated.

It was so nice to be able to sit out in the garden!

IOops! I meant just that fact that it was very meaty- would have had no pbos if Caribbean and veggie!

Another SW member here. It works when I stick to it, but the past few weeks have been incredibly stressful and my heart just hasn't been in it, so I've gained 3.5 or the 7.5lbs I had lost. At least I didn't gain it all back, but my head is now back in the losing weight frame of mind, and I find it fairly easy to stick to.

Cool

Hi
I started doing SW last jan '05 and by july 05 had lost 4 stone(was doing it alone-no class), but then things went a bit AWOL with holidays and birthdays etc(had joined and rejoined class a few times too trying to get remotivated), and have put all back on now bar 1 st !
But as from monday i will be trying to get back into it properly again on my own(as i did better on my own rather than attending class-and also using ivillage SW board)
I have booked a holiday to Florida for October '07 and want to be at my target by then!
I have 5 stone to lose!
But i reckon if i stick with it i could do that in that time, i just need to get back into it properly!
I have been shopping today and am fully stocked up with SW friendly foods etc, so really theres no excuse LOL
I currently weigh 15st 5 and would like to get down to 10- 10 1/5 st .........

But good luck everyone , it is a good plan if you stick with it and it is also very versatile

Edited... must change my ticker i am more than that current weight now LOL

I'd lost 1.5 pounds when I went yesterday. it was a relief because I hadn't lost anything for 6 weeks and had actually put 1lb on. I'm not far off my club 10 so its been very annoying!! I've upped my excercise and cut down on free foods such as pasta and replaced them with more "speed" foods.
