Question Swollen ankles

The day before Easter I got one of the worst charlie horses in my left leg. I couldn't walk on it with complete pressure for a couple weeks. Then the pain moved to my inner thigh for about a week. Then into the heel of my foot for a few days. Once I thought it was gone... Last Wednesday night, I noticed that my left ankle was swollen. Looked like a small water balloon had been attatched to it. My limbs (hands, legs and feet) do get numb sometimes too.
Does anyone know what all this could mean?

I think it means you should go see a doctor! Please don't rely on internet buddies to diagnose what could be real problems

I second that! See a doc! Could be very serious... my dad had a enormous blood clot in his leg that caused only one leg to swell and his leg ached. Do not mess around - make an appointment and get it checked ASAP. If it is a clot, that could be deadly, no joke! Don't mean to scare you, but really, don't wait.

And keep us updated!

Christina, I'm sorry I didn't mention for you to see a doctor when I posted to you yesterday. I clearly wasn't thinking.

Hope you take care of it and are feeling better soon.

I went to the doc today and she said it could be so many things. But since I already had a ton of blood work done and an MRI about 8 months ago, then that rules some things out. So she is sending me in to get an ERG on Friday.
So we will have to wait. She also put me on a low salt diet and gave me some excericeses to do.
I was looking over the list... NO PICKLES! I love pickles! LMAO
Thanks for caring everyone... I must say, it helped me alot!!!

Christina, I'm glad you went to the doc! Crossing my fingers that everything is OK and it's just too many pickles

Glad to hear you are getting checked out!

Is there such a thing as low-sodium pickles?
