Default Friday May 5

Already the end of the week! This is great! I'm really on a roll and motivated now! I'm ready to tackle those last 22 pounds to reach my final goal!

I'm just 2 pounds away from reaching once again my original Jorge Cruise goal. When I first started the program 2 years ago, I had set my goal at 150. I did meet my goal last August, but after getting energy problems, gained a bit of weight and been struggling ever since. I'm now 2 pounds away from the original JC goal again. I can't wait to get under 150 again and kiss it goodbye for good!

I sure have come a long way since I started and am very proud of my weight loss achievement. I know I can reach my final goal (new goal set last year) of 130. I've lost so much weight since I started, there is nothing stopping me from losing the remaining 22 pounds.

I'm alone for the weekend. My husband left last night to go to our god daughter's first communion up north. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it as well. So I'm staying home with the kids. Hopefully, everything will be all right. Luckily, my sister is coming in tomorrow to help me with the crazy come and go of swimming and dance lessons in the morning. Not easy doing all that with 2 kids. This will be my daughter's dance practice before her recital next weekend! It will probably be a crazy day for us tomorrow! Will see! And sunday, I will have to drive for a good 4 hours to meet my husband half way and bring him back home. His sister will be driving him closer to home for the first 6 hours. I got lucky and ended up with only 4 hours to do! Plus of course, another 4 hours to come back to Ottawa! The girls will go to my brother's house to spend the day with his kids.

Any plans for this weekend?

Have a nice day everyone as well as a nice weekend!

Oh how great to be so close to goal!!! Congrats.....

I am still on vacation. We are in Nashville right now and it is raining out. We had a tour of singers homes yesterday saw Johnny Cash's house and it meant more since we had just seen his movie.

Today we go downtown music district and a plantation tour and then tonight we will attend the Grand Ole Opry....we have never been so looking forward to it. Then off Sat. to Gatlinburg for a week to rest up from all those grandkids in Ohio and KY,....we loved every minute of it.

Diet has gone out the window for now, but when I get home I will start back and lose this vacation weight quickly.

Everyone good luck on the May challenge.

Phyllis

We are planning to go to the mountains to the casinos -- my husband's best friend and I need to celebrate our birthdays by winning a little cash.

I got so sick yesterday. I grabbed a packet of oatmeal out of the cabinet and didn't look it and ate it for breakfast. It happened to be a whole grain one that had organic wheat flakes in it. 3 hours after eating it I started to get a really bad stomach ache, then major nausea and lots of gas and bloating. So it only takes 3 hours for your food to get into your small intestine. I ended up having to go home and spend the rest of the day in bed. Still a little queasy today.
