Default Planning for Wednesday May 3

I know it is late for this today but I really need this. I have been slipping a bit the last couple days - nothing major like didn't blow the whole day - but I had a few pieces of pizza and yesterday I had 4 COOKIES! I know it is not a big deal but I really want to be on track today. I am also working on eating more for breakfast and lunch and a bit less at dinner. Everyone is welcome to join in!

B- banana; yogurt; scrambled eggs; toast; coffee (with fat free french vaniall cream and a bit of sugar)
L- wrap (whole wheat tortilla, smoaked salmon cream cheese, pickled asparagus, deli chicken breast, lettuce, hot peppers); orange; baby carrots
D- salad (lettuce, shrimp, hot peppers; carrots; hot sauce; low fat ranch dressing); baby carrots

If I get hungry somewhere in there I do have a fruit source bar for a snack just in case.

Water- 4+ liters
Exercise- 30 min walk/jog (25 min jogging); 45 min pilates; 200 jumping jacks

SO lets see if this new way of eating works!

apple for snack (theres always fruit in our work kitchen!)

lunch....ham and cheese on wheat....baked cheetos!!

snack: small choc chip cookie

dinner: soup (to make up for the stupid ham and cheese on REGULAR wheat!!); crumbled up tortilla chips for some crunch

Daily Exercise: 3 mile run; 45 min on weights

Hi Gals!

b- special k and Heart Wise Orange Juice
Snack - nuts and fruit chunks
l-leftover Manicotti
d-stuffed peppers

Watching my portions on it all!

I have new motivation - I got a tattoo on my abdomen. I probably should have waited until I was closer to my goal, but I am such a right now person! The artist said that I should be ok because my skin felt very elastic (yahoo - elastic skin!) But I now want more than anything else to get rid of the flab that my beautiful purple pansy is sitting on! My kids were hilarious - my daughter (16 - hates needles) couldn't believe it, as I am for the most part very conservative, but she loves the colors, my son (14) laughed and told me it was very "disturbing", my husband thinks that it is feminine and looks very pretty on me. Anyway, it is my new motivation (not like I'm going to be wearing a bikini or a shorty shirt or anything - it's just for me!)

That is so awesome babsy congrats! It makes me want one. Something realy girly like a beautiful butterfly or a tinkerbell or something. But I dunno what it is - I am very indecisive! I am the kinda person that is never happy with something unless it is perfect. I would spend hours starting at it till I found something wrong with it and then it would bug me for the rest of my life! For that reason... tattoos are not good for me! Even tho deep down I want one; I think it is best that I not get one. If I ever change my mind, it has to be my lower back so I can't start at it!

I am so jealous! It really makes me want to run out and get one!!! I have my navel done; have for a long time - would be nice to be able to show it off! I might get another one when I get to my goal weight... like maybe the bottom of it or something. Not sure. Having my navel done does make me feel sexy even if I cant show it off. Its cute and I love it! I have another piercing that is a huge esteem booster as well but I wont get into that right now, haha.

I have bought myself an iPod Video as motivation to lose weight but I am not happy with it at all. My iPod Mini is way better. I have had it a couple months but I am going to return it becaues I am so unhappy with it. That leaves me with 550$ to save for something special for myself.

Mine is on my spine, about 3.5 inches long, starting about an inch below a typical shirt collar. It's in a spot that is very easy to hide for work and I really can't stare at it without a lot of twisting.

Here's a picture:

http://gloriana.myphotoalbum.com/vie...attoo_finished

It looks enormous because it was taken in extreme close up, but it's not very big at all. It's traditional Chinese characters, a proverb that means "dripping water can eat through stone." It's to remind me about perservance - all the little changes/actions that help me stay healthy. I found it on this site:

http://www.oneaday.org/archives.html

I never really considered myself the tattoo type before - I'm very straight-laced. This tattoo is so meaningful to me though, I basically wanted something permanent on my skin to remind me every day not to mess this up. I know that a large percentage of people lose weight and gain it back. Heck, I was one of those people. I am determined this time to NOT gain the weight back and this is something that motivates me everyday to perservere.

I love that proverb! How perfect for anyone who is realizing their dream. I'm just shy of 45 so I kind of feel old to be doing this, but it's just something for me. I told the kids that this was something we didn't talk to the grandparents about though! Funny being in your mid 40's and not wanting to get mom and dad cranky!
