This is just a tiny success, but I lost 5 pounds my first week of changing my eating patterns. I am not on a diet this time....I am trying to change how I eat and think about food. I have been on every diet there is and this time I am just eating healthy and eliminating the junk. I am motivated and I believe that 2006 will be the year I finally lose all this weight.
Hey Melody--not only congrats on your first week and 5 pounds, but on your ATTITUDE about losing the weight this year. I think you really have the perspective to help you be successful long term
There's no such thing as a "tiny success." Five pounds is a "WOW" of a big deal. The first week for me was 2 pounds so your doing great!!
I have to agree though..it seems like you're not happy with the 5 lbs.? You have to have a positive attitude or your going to fail. Please look at this as a "mini" goal. I'd take 5 lbs. any day..... If you need to talk to someone...go ahead and talk. Sometimes just telling someone a problem helps along the way of losing weight.
