Default Journal, Saturday June 30th

Hi all-
At work on a lovely summer's day. Sigh. At least I got out to my weigh-in (up a bit ), but went to the farmer's market, out for breakfast and had nice walk with the dog.

breakfast:
fruit 1
1 piece sweet perrin bread (figs, pears and hazelnuts) 3
butter 2
lunch:
water
sauteed morels w/ sherry 1
fresh tagliolini pasta 3
cheese 1
cherries 1
dinner:
roasted, grilled veggies 1
halibut 2
potatoes/onions 3
strawberry cornmeal cake !!!!! 6
no idea what else?
exercise: gym, si,si 1 hr killer cardio
dog walks- defective, yet necessary
water:si,si
vitamin:as we speak

Breakfast:
2 low-fat eggos
1/2 cup of lite syrup
tropicana calcium fortified orange juice.

Pre-exercise snack:
3 point Source One Metrix Bar (chocolate Devils Food Cake)

Lunch:
Chicken Mozzerralla Pita sandwich with lo-cal dressing (at the Big Boy Restaurant)

Snack: brocolli/califlower in micro-wave with butter salt and diet coke.

Dinner: toss salad, 2 tablespoons of Nutella
on 2 slices of Natural Ovens Hunger Filler Bread

Total Points - 25

Exercise for the day - 30 minuts on stationary bike

totally hot and horrible today...and in an ongoing effort not to lose any weight this week, I'm spinning completely out of control...

Not my best day, pointwise at least, but I had to celebrate my son's 16th birthday, right? Thank God for activity and banked points.

We took Arthur out to a Japanese restaurant, which ended up being pretty good for me. I ate a lot of the points I spent. If it wasn't for dessert (I actually made a better choice than I could have; my DH was pushing the fried ice cream but I opted for green tea ice cream instead and only had one of the two scoops) and of course the birthday cake (I just took a sliver, or so I thought but when I weighed it and looked it up it came to a whopping 7 points, which was over double what I anticipated) I would have hardly gone over my points. Oh, well. I'm back on track today. We are going to the mall and eating out lunch but I'm going to opt for a very on-program veggie burger.

Well, here is what I ate:

Morning:
rice cakes with soy butter 3

Midday:
rice 2
bean salad 3
salsa 0
soy cheese 1
2 pt bar 2
blueberries 1

Evening:
seaweed salad 2
miso soup 2
fried bean curd appetizer 3
edamame 2
steamed vegetables with tofu 2
3 pieces of sushi 2
green tea ice cream 3
green tea
chocolate cake 7

Total: 35
