We just had a minor crisis at work...a sprinkler went off accidentally soaking a freezer full of biological samples in our R&D building!! Since I am the Safety person, I had to be called in for advise on how to handle clean-up. Anyway, they brought in lunch...PIZZA and COOKIES!!
I ate 4 pieces and a cookie and feel bad. Will also miss my lunchtime workout!
I'll try to only have a small salad for dinner, but I'm going out with friends so it will be hard. Help!!
Gee Lyn... That sounds terrible, last year at Thanksgiving, we had a leak in a lab, with test machines running.... in water!!!! yikes.... I havent been online a lot this week... I broke out in hives tues afternoon... from what I really dont know... last thing I ate on Tues afternoon was a small bag of peanuts from the machine.. I have never been allergic to peanuts before but am sort of afraid to eat anymore....Looking forward to the christmas party on monday nite.... take care and see you soon.... India

Hope you're doing better and the hives are gone! I think I ended up doing ok this week. Exercised everyday - even fit in some on Friday, afterall, and had a salad for dinner. Weigh-in will tell, I suppose.
Hi Lyn... im up early and trying to be quiet... the family likes to sleep in but my body alarm clock thinks 7:30 is pretty late to be getting up.... The hives are gone... im doin fine... looks like we got some snow... my Tops pal called and we talked about getting back into the routine and doing better....so we shall see..... India
Lyn, do you have a gym at work? How'd the clean up go? Good for you for sticking to the salad!
India, can you read the ingredients on that peanut package? Maybe they had MSG or something in them (some peanuts are sprayed with a gelatin, MSG and sugar solution) and you could have had a reaction to those...although it COULD have just been the peanuts Glad the hives are gone!
I have been too busy to post much but just started a weekly menu/exercise thread and will post there daily.
Yogi... I didnt think of that... could be something sprayed on them.. I am afraid to try again... I reacted to the christmas tree but some clairitin cleared that up....I am allergic to sulfites and nitrates, have to be really careful at buffets....
