How is everyone doing this morning? We seem to be dwindling down here! Anyone got any special Labor Day plans?

We dont' expecially with the gas shortage and the outrage price for what is left, we will be sticking close to home.

We have no special plans, getting the house ready for a visit from my sister and her dh on the 15th. They are coming from Seattle and she wants HOT weather!!! Duh....she will get it here, she will be happy to go home.

Had an unexpected dinner out with friends who are leaving for a months vacation to Calif., Lake Tahoe and Hawaii.......I am so jealous I hope they have a great time. They are both overweight and like me always dieting I told her forget it and have a great time....you can diet when you return.

In the meantime I had 2 glasses of wine with them, which I usually don't do anymore but I enjoyed them. Food wise I stayed pretty close to plan so I will really have to be OP the next two days before WI.

Off to work and run errands and hope to get in some exercise today.

Hi all! I snuck on the scale this am I went from 162.9 down to 161.2 and Tom is gone! So yeah! Its getting closer to wi and like Phyllis I would like to be totally OP till wi. I havn't exercised since August 1 ( about) and I am now anxious to do it again. Im ready to DO IT! MY own personal challenge started yesterday. What a horrrible day! DS got sent home sick and I was sick and dh was sick and dd was getting sick by end of the day. I did not excersize. - Didnt want to push it - and I had an excruciating headache, back ache, stomach cramps all day. But I woke up today feeling 100% refreshed and better! So today is the day to DO IT! Be a good example for myself.

About my new job. Well I got hired long ago and filled in paperwork and they sent it to headcourters. Well headcourters lost it and that meant I had to wait weeks for them to figure it out. Then my supervisor was on vacation for another 2 weeks. which meant I had to wait for him to come back- in the midst of that. I was called in for training and I drove 30 miniutes to get there and then they said that they didnt have my employee # and that I couldnt train and went back home. UGH! Then my supervisor came back from vacation and he wanted me to come back in and fill all the paperwork out again and try over. This time I am not just an employee - during this fiasco a supervisor position came up and guess who got offered the job? You guessed it ME!!! Yep ME!! And I will not work on weekends! Before I would've worked Saturdays till10pm. Now its Mon- Fri 4-8pm and I still work mornings at home so I will hopefully be doing better very soon. And I should start maybe Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. YEAH!!!!!! ~Thanks for asking Lauri~

WTG Dani!

My MIL is here for the long weekend. But, I am really planning to stay OP. I have lost another 1 pound and I am totally psyched!! That means since last weeks weigh in I have lost 3 pounds!!!! I think last weeks 1 pound gain must have been a fluke, though. So I probably really lost 2 -- but still -- I am over the moon!!!!! It is really motivating me to keep going!

Anita you are so close to your goal wieght! That is awesome! You insired me to add goal dates with the weight tracker and I find myself looking at them everytime I post and saying thats not bad I actually might be able to do this! Thank you for being an insiration to me. Gonna go work out now

WTG Anita and Dani! Congrats on the job Dani, thats great! You gals are SO inspiring! Another week almost gone! I am looking forward to Sunday, it has been a good week, a few slips, but none the less! I made a promise to myself that I would get my cardio in last night because Wed. night I was too exhausted, and I didn't. I went grocery shopping and then to my sisters for a couple hours and didn't get home til 1am So I will get in 45 minutes today. . I have food! YAY I can vary my diet from Luna bars, cheese and crackers. LOL!
My kindy kid, Eva went to school today for her first full day. She was sick yesterday because she was a little scared.. My oldest DD Danae told her this morning if she was scared she could hold her hand and Danae would take her to her class. Eva grabbed her hand right then and was still holding it when they got on the bus! It's harder for me than it was when Danae started kindy! Probably because she's worried and Danae was SO excited and not a bit scared. Eva just looks so LITTLE! Anyway, it's a good day.
My thoughts and prayers are down south and with everyone effected.

Gee...shucks! I think it was Donna who inspired me to break up my big goal into mini goals! I think it does help.
