Hi ladies…
I’m back from Vegas… I am going back and replying to all the posts that I can get to. I didn’t have internet connection in the room only in the downstairs atrium. I didn’t wanna go air my laundry out in the middle of a casino LOL.
Marble – I’ve stepped back and have decided they can fight their own fight. I used to jump in because I didn’t want them to break up… who wants their parents to split up?? Well… I think this time, maybe they are both better off apart. Financially for my dad, and for my mom, well, maybe she will learn what my dad is going through if she gets her own apartment and keeps on gambling and seeing her bills add up. They say sometimes you gotta learn the hard way. Maybe she will?
CIN – actually in a way, I did take off and not leave a number

I told my parents I was leaving for vegas for the bowling league last week… I just didn’t remind them that I was leaving last Friday. So I come home and I had a few messages on my cell and on my house line
Cathy – How are things going for you in Louisiana? I heard they turned the 10 fwy into a one way freeway. Are things okie for you?
I am sending all my prayers and warm wishes to all the folks who are in the path of Katrina!
Vegas was great. It was long needed vacation! A great get away from my parents too :-P
I won a lot of money tho. I came in second in the women’s division based on my score. They I won a few other competitions as well. I placed anywhere between 1st and 12th in the womens singles, womens doubles, mixed doubles and team competition. All in all I got about 300 bucks from bowling. Then I hit a royal flush on Pai Gow, but I only bet $1 and so the pay was $150. Can you imagine if I had bid the higher amount???? *faints* It was my first time playing Pai Gow only because I had made some money on bowling so I decided I would try a few hands. I only put in $40 bucks, sat for an hour, and came out with $220 heehe. I also won about hmmm… 2-300 on the penny slots and a a few more on the nickel slots. I don’t gamble to much. I usually only play the penny slots because you can usually put in $10 or $20 and sit all day. James and I went into Vegas with $400 bucks that we saved up over the season and came out with about $250 left. That’s after all the food, all the gifts, and all the shows we went to.
It was a good getaway. I had the company of good friends, good food

and my bowling ball

Oh and about bowling, the reason I placed so well was because I bowled a really SUPER game! I bowled a 200, 204 and 179 I also had a handicap of about 56 pins. So add all that up and add on 56 x 3 to my score and it gave me a good enough score to place!
I’m going to Laughlin Sept 16th. This one is just for us tho, no league competitions, just us and two friends. We’re going down for Party Gras. This is something we had planned for a few months. Just something for us to get away from the normal life here at home. We usually go to Pismo beach but this year I took summer school and the kid was switched to a different track (year round school) so it made things hard for us to plan anything. Here’s my schedule for the new few weeks.
We’re having an after league team party this Friday (2nd) so another BBQ ICK!
This Saturday (3rd) we are going to the Angels game. Taking Brit for her Birthday (4th) She’s gonna be 13!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next Saturday(10th) I have my 3rd and Final exam (if I can pass the history section) Then I have a friends bday to go to later that night.
Then the following Friday (16th) we are going to Laughlin for the weekend.
Then I start school
I start work tomorrow. YAY

nothing like going to Vegas, staying up all night and then trying to get back into a regular work schedule
Alrighty Folks, I’m outta here!
Sue…
