Smile Let's Motivate!

Good Morning Beach Bunnies,

Well, I start my 4th week tomorrow and couldn't be happier with South Beach. I lost 14 pounds in Phase One and it looks like I lost another 1-2 this past week (I weigh in tomorrow) with TOM coming! So I am really happy with this.

Just wondering, how did you guys lose after the initial momentum? Was it 1-2 per week or what?

I really like how Barb tracks her weight loss, very helpful. Thanks Barb & Great Job!

Happy Monday!

Good Morning Honey Bunny

BIG congrats on your 14 lb weight loss. Wow You did good.

I lost 6 lbs on Phase 1 and when I got in phase 2 I was really afraid to add new carbs so I started to maintain for weeks as I only added 1 fruit & 1 grain.Big mistake, you have to add the GOOD Carbs back like the program is written.
After adding in more carbs I started to lose weight again .5 to 1 lb per week. I was 3 lbs away of goal when we decide to go on a cruise, gained 10 lbs back and now I'm working (second time around) on 12 to hit my goal.

I also journal and keep track of my weight.

MY ADVICE DON'T BE AFRAID TO ADD THE CARBS BACK INTO PHASE 2. IT WILL ONLY BRING YOU BACK TO A STALL.

Hope that helps BB

Sunny Bunny, I lost about 4 pounds a week, on average, for about 8 months. Right after I got to my 95 pound mark, things started slowing down. I stalled for a month and a half and now I'm losing in whooshes, with lots of fluctuation between a couple pounds in between each woosh. I'm not exercising as much right now, and I know that has something to do with it. Still, I'm very motivated, in spite of it all.

Can someone offer to send Sunny the excel weight chart that predicts when you'll meet goal? I don't have mine at work, or I'd be glad to do it. It's really cool, Sunny! You put in your weekly weight and it tells you your BMI and, based on your last three weigh ins, when you'll reach goal!

Sunny, PM me with your email addy and I will send you the excel spread sheet that tracks your weight loss. It also predicts, at the weight that you lose, when you will reach your goal, and indicates your BMI.
