Is everyone sleeping in this morning? Jake has the day off today, so of course he thinks when he gets up that I should be up, too. He is so noisy that I couldn't sleep in if I wanted to! He's taking his car in first thing this morning for an oil change, so it'll be quite around here for a couple of hours at least. I guess I'll go to Curves this morning, especially since I missed it Monday and Tues. because of the weather. Nothing else is planned for the day, I'll see what comes up. I know it's way too cold and windy to be spending any time outdoors today! Have a great day, everyone.

I did not sleep worth a hoot all night. I have had major heartburn and still have it. It usually does not last all night! I think I am still froze in places from the soccer game. It was soooooo coooooold out there! We lost again. :-( But we are gettin better. Well I'm goin to rustle up my lil herd and get 'em goin. Have a great day all!
Cottage, it took me YEARS to teach my DH not to wake me up when I'm entitled to sleep in. I'm a morning person, and am usually up 1-2 hours before him. So on the maybe two times a year when I try to sleep in, he'd better NOT wake me!

Bamie, you sound rough, hon. Are you going to see your doctor about the heartburn? You should (mother speaking, here), because you can get scarring on your esophagus if it goes on for too long. (remember my chicken episode from last year?)

I'm in my kitchen! I had to reboot the damned computer this morning, so I figured I may as well go the whole hog and move it back into the kitchen. Oh, I am SO happy! I can see out the window, I can see my coffee pot... And now the pantry table will once again be free for the kids to have breakfast and do their homework on. Happy happy...
Back shortly... got the day to myself, and must get everyone out of the house so I can enjoy it.
Morning chicks..... the sun is trying to peek through the clouds and it is not to cold here today. I am being lazy I am still in my jammies and have not done a lick of work. Except for printing off my recipts for my parents. I will be glad when spring is here.....

Cottage and Bamie, isn't that annoying having the guys around when you'd planned time to yourself. Have some sympathy for those of us who have them around all the time! Bamie, what's with the heartburn? Did you eat bad stuff or did you tummy juices freeze last night. Cottage, you PA peeps sure got a big dump. How many inches? The SNOW, I mean!
Ellis, I can see you all content in your kitchen with your PC and coffee and the bright colours. Are you thinking of having something pretty to look at out that east window? Is there room for a trellis or something? The kidlets will be glad to get things back to normal - well, normal for your house.
A slightly snowy morning here but it's stopping. I had to get the garbage out to the road and braved it just in my boots and long chenille robe. Came back to find the side storm door would not open! Luckily I had already unlocked the back door so I got in. Otherwise I'd have had to climb the fence into the dog yard to get in their door! (I think I'll hit that frassing door with WD 40 or is it 50?) It sure was good to get back into a warm house and my coffee!
I have to do my journal, tread the mill and then hop into the tub. My March rule is to be fed, bathed, exercised and dressed by 9 but I do have to do my coop time too!

I am waiting for the coffee to brew . I don't know why it is so very difficult for men to make coffee around here. They will get the last cup and leave it empty for the next person GRRRRRR.
Cottage ~ Feel your pain on the sleeping matter. My DH and I take turns on the weekends with Rayeny. He gets up on Sat. and I get up on Sun. HOWEVER, on Sunday - I try to keep it quiet for HIM. No such luck on Saturday with the two of them jumpin' and runnin' around the house. Add to that the dog barking at them BECAUSE they are runnin' and jumpin' around the house and it makes for a very difficult sleeping environment.
Bamie ~ Glad to hear the team is gettin' better. Now if it would just WARM UP!!! Take it easy today and get some rest. Go to the DOCTOR!!!! I have to take (2) Nexium a day because I waited and waited to go. NIP IT!!
Ellis ~ How old are your kids? I don't think I've ever asked. It sounds as if you have the model husband - do you rent him out for tutoring??? If so, can you send him my husbands way????

Quick peck in for me. I am feeling not so hot still. I think I'm waking up every morning worse than the day before. UGH! Managed to get in a half hour of a Pilates Video. Baby would NOT go to bed last night & 1/2 way into it, he decides he's had enough of me not rocking him to sleep. Sooo, rocked him to sleep then I went to bed myself. I was sooo tired. I'll shoot for the full hour today. Ok, i'm off to get ready to take the older kiddo to school. Have a great day ladies!
Good Morning Ladies! I did not feel like getting up this morning. I just don't feel motivated yet. I have cut out my morning coffee, but I think I will have to add a cup back in Well, I am down 3 pounds! I am so excited. I hope I lose at least 5 by Sunday morning. That will be a week down on Phase I. I really think I can stick with this diet/WOE. Its all about planning. I hope you all have a fabulous day! At least its Hump Day!
Amber, big hugs... I remember those rough baby days/nights all too well. I think it's great that you're keeping up with the exercising... it's such a good way to relieve stress.

Our DD is 15, and our DS is 9. And yes, I really lucked out with my DH. I don't know what I ever did to deserve such a good life.

Rayney, I have the same problem with my husband. Why can't he make the coffee? Geesh, men sometimes. They can accomplish lots of things but put them in the kitchen and they're stumped. ha ha

Back to school for DS today. He seems to think it is funny to be late so we had a show down this morning. I'm feeling kinda guilty for being such a b*tch this morning but he is getting worse and worse. I'll bet he has 12 tardy slips since Jan 1. Oh well.
Day 3 - phase I - off to a good start. Yesterday went well too. I forgot my chicken and salad this morning so I'll have to run home.
