Okay, sorry Vickie -- I disappeared from chat but yes, I was still wrestling with the dog. I think I got "it" put back in but DH got home from class and said that this situation is just all messed up. I'm taking Zuki to the vet in the morning, dropping him off and saying "please fix the dog" ... whatever it takes. Good grief, none of us want to live the rest of our lives this way!!!

Is he neutered? I had male dogs all my life and never heard of this happening. You have the MOST interesting life!

Yes he is. In fact when we first got him from the pound, he was freshly neutered and had an infection. I guess he ran away from home just a day or two after the surgery. When we picked him up, we had to take him straight to our vet and he had another $300 worth of surgery to correct the problem.

They put him out to do some deep checking for tumors and stuff, and didn't find anything. I guess they're going to go ahead with the procedure next week and sew things together so it'll stop happening.
