Hi you two
What's shakin'? It's a cold day here today. I wish I could get back some of the insulation I lost, well just for the drive to and from work.

Shiver!
Leenie Beanie.. keep pushing for a local therapist. YOU are in charge of your healthcare.. everyone else works for you. If you don't get what you want from this doctor, find another. Yes I am going to keep nagging you. You keep putting this off and dropping the ball and you are far too important to take yourself so much for granted! So there!

I hope you and Ms. G feel better soon. A box is en route for the little princess.

Everything in there is for her, except the one thing with your name on it. So no snitching her stuff!
Suzanne... oh dental work! I hope it goes well. Demand GOOD drugs. I figure if we have to go through the expense and pain of oral surgery, we darned well better get good legal drugs! It's funny you mentioned finding decent produce this time of year. I am terribly spoiled as I get fresh veggies year round.. summer is even better though. I remember visiting my Mom in Ark. many eons ago and was very surprised at how little of the fresh stuff seemed to be in the stores, when compared to CA. I have a solution. You both need to move here. Simple. huh?
Things are okay here. Just way too busy for my liking. This position I accepted on church council is taking up far too much time. Hopefully once we get passed this weekend retreat thingy it will not seem so imposing. This isn't even a real retreat where you get to go off and be in the woods. It's just going to be friday night at the pastor's house and then all day Saturday working at the church. UGH.

Sunday I have decided I am cutting church as three days of church stuff this week (tomorrow is Ash Wednesday) is plenty. Of course Sunday I need to work on the church web site, so what the heck?
Work is fine, exercise is fine, eating is fine. The scale is a &%$@$%)&$$#!! Bet you can't guess what that says!!

I've added an extra 90 minutes of exercise a week to try and get the blasted scale to move. I think I'm at something like 430 minutes a week now. Sigh. nuttin. I think I need to work out 16 hours a day, eat tree bark and drink 5 gallons of water to see a change. Yeah Yeah I know all about the muslce weighing more than fat issue. These last pounds are being incredibly tough. I'll be lucky to lose 1 pound a month at the rate things are going. So sometime in 2006 maybe I'll hit goal?

I might need to rethink losing 19 more to just 9. Nine more was my original goal.. so we'll see.
Yes I've been cooking. I made tuna patties with ginger and soy this weekend and a yummy chicken, mushroom spinach dish with balsamic vinegar and garlic and served it over brown rice. I almost drooled all over myself last night it was so good!

This weekend will be easy cooking for the week since I'll barely be home.
And on that note, it's time for me to go over to another building and whine about server status... it's down and I am stuck until it comes back.
So what have you ladies been cooking? Any new recipes to share? Any new Men?

ok, just Suzanne on that one, unless Leenie is up to no good!!

Happy Fat Tuesday!!!
