Default regular looking women as models...

Do you like seeing normal-looking women in magazines, rather than stick-thin models? I'm a magazine editor and I'm wondering if any of you would want to appear in my magazine, "First for Women" as real-life models? (We have 1.5 million readers.) I'm working on a special summer feature and I need to profile three everyday women who have found a bathing suit that suits their body! If you're chosen for this swimsuit makeover article, you'd be photographed in your old and new suits (a hair and makeup artist would pamper you!).

So if you'd like to be considered for this project, please email me a snapshot of you in your old and your new favorite suit (for reference only). Also include your bust, waist and hips measurements...don't worry, we are looking for a variety of real-women shapes and sizes. These measurements just help up know if, for example, you are a Type A body like me (your shoulders are narrower than your hips, a Type B (your shoulders and hips are the same width) or a Type C (your shoulders are wider than your hips)...

Hopefully this article will help women feel confident in buying and wearing a flattering bathing suit, even if they haven't worn one in a decade!

Thanks, keep up the good work!

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for the interesting offer. Sorry, but I can't think about swimsuits right now (I haven't met goal yet!) however, I would love to see some fellow 3FC ladies "all dolled up."

Just an FYI though, I would be interested in seeing something about body Types A, B & C. I don't think I've heard those references before. I am a C type and feel like this shape is rarely addressed in the women's mags.

Thanks for checking in here from time to time.
Good luck with the search for everyday women for the summer feature.
