I guess they are updating the boards b/c my time of posts are wrong . ohwell! Hi Ladies! Today is weigh in day for alot of us. After reading the post from 2cute2befat, I turned my nose up at food. After that post, I did not even want to look at food. It is hard to believe something that is suppose to keep you alive and healthy can also make you unhealthy and unmanagable. I learn some things about that post. For one, to be thankful for what I have. Like she said, 185 used to be fat but now she would do anything to get back to it. I used to be like that in school. I was 130 and thought I was huge, but now I would love to be at 130. Heck my goal is only at 140. You know it is strange how your body plays tricks on you. It also sunk in what she said about eating healthy and feeling like you weigh less than when you eat junk , but you are still at the same weight. I feel like that too!

Well, I just wanted to say a couple things. Sherri and I both printed out the post and will be reading them at our meetings tomorrow night! I hope some of what she said helped you as much as it did me!!!! Penny

Good day everyone, Just want to let you know that I think about everyone so often and try to check the board once a day, so I am keeping up with most of the news.

Things continue to be sooooo buuussssyyyyyy around here and I don't see any let up until mid June. Getting ready for a graduation and there are many award dinners to go to before hand. Tomorrow we're are ordering the cake for her party and we have to drive 40 miles just for that!! Living in a small town can put a real crimp in things.

I gained 1# last night so I am that much over goal. It is going to be tough too since I am going out of town for the weekend and I have no clue what will be available. Luckily I will be staying with a couple who are both KOPS also...he is our state King this year, so I will look to him for inspiration. I can't wait till our SRD June 2&3 so I can hoot and holler at him!

Sherrie, just read your post about how the calorie counting isn't working for you. Go back to what you know does.....it may take a bit longer, but the frustration won't be there to sabotage you. You really have done well....don't let the little hic-cups bother you too much, just take a big drink of water and restart your journey. You are such a dear and have given so many words of encouragement to the rest of us. Know that you are in my hearts thoughts........

Penny, you hang in there too. Yes, not making pledges is frustrating, but you know that when you stop trying is when the real trouble starts. Don't ever stop making those small goals!!!!! Remember the 'butt' thing? Well, I haven't done well with moving mine so I hope you are making up for both of us!!! LOLOLOL!!!! Come On, you can do it!!!!

Eleni, I hope your reworking your way of eating will show a loss for you. Just keep moving the body....I think it is great that you are pacing at work....anything helps and expends those calories. I MUST do that too!!!! My back is feeling better so no more excuses!!!!

I need to find that post that 2cute2befat wrote. Sounds like something I need to read!!!

To all those I haven't personnally addressed, I wish you all well and I DARE you to be 'losers'!! LOLOL!!! OK, I think I need to dare myself also.....hey, whatever works.

I had a very good loss tonight.But I worked hard to get it.I revamped what I am doing.And it seems to be working great.I used a trick the girls who are on low carb do tonight.not to eliminate carbs but to just eat less calories.We always go for soup and a small pizza on Thursday night.I just scraped off my topping and it tasted just like the pizza.I had my pizza but much less calories.We also picked up some more Leancruisne meals to have around.Our plan is to eat them 3 times a week.I don't expect that big a loss every week.Last week my leg was swollen so some of my loss was water.I will be thrilled at 1# to 2# each week.It's my bdtime.I will check in tomorrow

First of all I want to address you penny,

Girl I don't want to hear anymore negatives out of your mouth. You are getting yourself down for no reason at all. You are doing great and with the loss you had tonight it proves it. You have had a loss every week for a while now. You are doing the work and you don't even know it. Otherwise the weight wouldn't be coming off like it is. Yes it is slow but like you say slow is better then none at all. You will make it to your goal. You will be sailing past me in no time. But I know in my heart that I am going to reach goal as well. I just have to iron out the rough spots right now.

Summer,

You need to get off your butt again.LOL Now that your back is better you have to start dating richard again. It will do you good and it can help to clear your mind in amonst all the confusion that is happening with all your planning and such. You are a kop and you will stay there. I won't let you lose that status because I know that you worked too hard to get there. You did it before you can still do it. Remember this is a lifelong journey not a temporary one. If we do what we always did in the past we get what we get. I have faith in you and know you can turn this around. Get moving woman.LOL

What can I say. I am so proud of you. You really turned yourself around and it really paid off. I am so happy for you. I wish I were there when you weighed in to see your face. You should be so proud of you. I know I am. I know how hard you have worked all week. Keep up the great work and now that you have a plan that works for you keep it up. You will reach your goal as well.

I am starting the 1500 cal exchange diet on saturday. I am going to do this all week and see what happens. I have to find something new that works for me. I know now that I wasn't getting enough to eat before because I was gaining then. This week I ate more than double what I have been eating and a lot of it wasn't even good for me and I stayed the same. So now I just have to eliminate the junk and I will have a loss. Hopefully the exchange diet will work for me. Wish me luck. I was ready to give up until I read that post last night by 2cute2Bfat. That was a great post. I read it to my group and we talked about it. We also did the compliment circle tonight and that made everyone feel great. It was a good meeting. They are better with the new leader now.

Hi Ladies! Thanks for all the wonderful support I get here. I told my mom that I would have given up by now if it was not for you women.!!!!!

Eleni! I am so so so proud of you. I just wish I were there to give you a great big hug and congratulate you. You deserve it. I kept hoping there was something I could do to help you. But it looks like you did it!!!!

Sherri! I hope the exchange plan works you and you work it! I know you will have a great loss this week. Just do what you do!!!! Except for today!!!!
