Default A question for all that have lost

I just noticed this board and was looking for some motivation...a great place to find it! You have all done so wonderful and I fully understand the struggle in the weight loss. I lost 120 pounds 2 years ago and have regained about half of it back. I see my downfalls now. I was practically starving myself and exercising for 3-4 hours a day. So, when I got thinner (not quite to my goal) I went crazy. Ate like a total pig AND quit exercising. I am back with it and trying to get my "old" body back. My question to you is this. How do you lose any flabby, jiggly fat??? I was 190, my arms, belly, and inner thighs were so flabby even with weight training and jogging. I didnt commit a huge amount of time to weight training and crunches. Just like 15 minutes a day. Would that need to be increased? Any advice that you have is so appreciated! And, again, congratulations to all of you!!!

I'd say at least 30 minutes a day. I'm 184 right now and my thighs are still jiggly but I have lost alot of inches (28 inches since June doing Curves 4x a week) and my thighs have toned up alot. You're on the right track with weight training I think- building muscle...

keep it up! you can do it!

If it's flabby, jiggly fat, then nothing will get it off except more fat/weight loss. If you have flabby jiggly muscles, then a good weight training program would be great. Don't do weights every day, you need a good 48 hours between most muscle groups. My routine is 45 minutes a day, 3x a week. I alternate upper body and lower body. A good beginner program is Body For Life. It's not just for beginners, but it is a simply explained program excellent for beginners to learn the ropes. Check out the Ladies Who Lift forum here!
