Smile

I sure miss posting all those cute pics out there. I remember when I was always putting cute little pics on here for each season and celebration. I want to thank the rest of you for keeping my child inside alive.

I don't have time to post. I am busy and I know all of you are too.
Today is the LAST day of our Turkey Challenge.
I have posted on the Turkey Challenge Thread.
It is time to start adding up those stickers.

How many chicks lost weight ?? Who earned the most stickers ?? What did you learn about yourself ??

I learned a LOT. I am really aware of the IMPORTANCE of the water. If I don't drink the water... I don't lose. It not only flushes the fat out... it keeps me with the sense of fullness too. If I have to drink all of my water before I can have anything else it really HELPS a lot.

Okay.. I don't have time for replies. I have a kitchen that is a TOTAL MESS from cooking for tomorrow. I need to get back there and finish cooking... and cleaning.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!!!

Hey everyone

Wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! Now, to remember what the holiday is really about... giving Thanks... and not all the food. I'm going to concentrate on making the day about family and being together. We have some fun activities planned after the meal, and I have some decoration kits I promised to not start working on until after Thanksgiving. I should be good and get to working on Christmas cards, huh!

I hope the day is wonderful for all of you, and filled with the things that you are most thankful for. *HUGS*

Happy Thanksgiving!

And don't forget the 2 lb in 2 week challenge ends this coming Monday. Just think about if you want a loss, gain, or maintain in 4 days!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

DH and I decided to go no where this Thanksgiving! And we are loving it! We are having a quiet holiday at home - just us and the dogs. Cooking a small turkey and the trimmings. Watching, movies, playing games, just hanging out!

Last night we went to look at home theaters. We are finally getting close to finishing the basement and really thinking about a home theater room. Well see how the $$$ looks - those rooms can be expensive.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and remember all the things in your life to be thankful for!

Be Happy and Healthy!
Love,
Barb

Happy Thanksgiving
to all my favorite ladies!

May blessings be upon you!

I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately, but I've been a bit busy. I've been able to email this link to some of you who I have addys for, but for the rest of you, if you're interested, here's a link to my News interview on the subject of my sleazy teacher and the my school district that continued to cover for him.

Be patient. The sites will only take so many people every hour and sometimes it takes a couple of tries to get in. Both of these websites have the same video clip. If you can't get into one, then try the other. BTW, I will only leave this here for a couple of days and then I'll go back to being anonymous.

WELCOME MARY !!!! I am glad you joined in and posted.
You must be a saint to be able to drive a school bus. I have been a preschool teacher/ brownie leader , etc for many years in the past when I was was younger.... but I could never drive a school bus. LOL

Well ladies... I did pretty darn good this Thanksgiving.
Not as good as my hubby... but good just the same.
I only got small serving sizes and did not go back for any seconds... not even my delicious HOT BREAD mmmmmm
(Thin... I am sorry I forgot to get you that recipe.)
I had slivers of desserts.
I DID NOT OVER EAT !!!!!!
I am pretty darn happy with myself right now.
I know this past 3 weeks made a difference in my choices and my attitude.
I truly did not want to over eat.

I did not feel the need to "go lay down and let my food settle" NOR "to go put on loosers pants either " I just had a nice dinner and we talked about old times. It was fun.

Okay.. gotta go. I need to go debone my turkey and put it up for my Mexican turkey casserole we eat every year the night AFTER thanksgiving.

THANKFUL THURSDAY ....
Yep ... you guessed it... I am thankful I ate wisely and sanely this Thanksgiving.
I am thankful I did NOT overeat.
I am thankful for the Turkey Challenge that DID apparently start my new lifestyle.
I am thankful for family and friends... LIKE ALL OF YOU !!!!

Default Let's Be Thankful

Hello Ladies,

Just a quick note to say Happy Thanksgiving! I know that we all have something to be thankful for. And I am thankful for all of you. And I am thankful for my wonderful husband and family and being alive. And I am thankful to God for letting me experience all of this.

Peace All

Everyone must be sleeping in today. I am trying to get my mind ready to start putting up Christmas decorations. I guess I should be putting this all in my journal instead of boring you all with it, but I just can't seem to make myself want to do anything. I know it's the SjS that makes me feel so crummy, both physically and mentally, but I also know I have to make myself keep things as normal as possible, so that means getting the house all prettied up.. So here goes....

Have a great day everyone
