Hi there, It is 3 am and I can not sleep.Decided to get up for awhile and maybe I will get real tired and get a little more sleep.
I went over to my art teachers house to see her work. Awesome stuff. I didn't care too much for her oil portraits.But her pen and ink are great. She had some really good oils of Indian scenes too.Plus she had a painting of her grandmother standing in a garden that was good as well as one of her grandfather sitting in an old green chair.She does a lot of old farms and old barns. She gave me 4 prints of her work. She calls them prints but they are just copies.Her house has a southwestern theme so she has a lot of Indian stuff.She had 4 Indian faces that she did the painting on them and they were good. But she has her pictures all thru house. Really awesome stuff
Once again she told me I was doing very good for amount of lessons I have taken and to quit being so hard on myself. I am my own worse critic. I did an ink drawing for my doctor of a heart being held by a hand. It is an open view of a real heart. I put it in frame and it does look good to me and Bill.Hopefully doc will think it's the thought that counts.We figure he may stick in one of bathrooms.
Our young girl next door is moving.We hate to see her go. She had a big yard sale and together Bill and I spent $100. We got a 25" TV for $50.I have been wanting one for bedroom in case one of us was sick and had to stay in bed. I also got a nice computer chair for $8.I put the old one by laptop. My other extra one that I used at laptop desk is at my art table. She had another one for $5.I wish I had got it for kids room.
I also got 2 metal plant stands. One has two holders and is just right size to put beside my recliner so I could get rid of TV tray. I painted it black and it looks good. Also got a bright red short stool that I can use when I need to do something low and don't want to have to bend over because I can't sit on floor.$1. Everything she had was too cheap.She just wanted to get rid of it.
Well I have been up since 2 . I will try to get to sleep again. We have to be at hospital at 8.Tomorrow will be a long day. Bill is in one of his snoring nights and that doesn't help my sleeping. I will probably fall asleep in waiting room.

Where did you get the weight meter. I see them on several places.

I was off work yesterday and didn't have a computer, so I'm catching up with everyone.

I was glad to see that Coco had a loss! Eleni, It sounded like you got a lot of good bargins. I hope you have a good vist at the doctors. Penny, I'm glad you had a nice trip and I wasn't the one asking you about the animated names, but that is so cool! How do I use it?

I wanted to start Chirstmas shopping yesterday but instead I bought a couple of things for me. A new coat, and a new blouse. I told my husband to just count it as part of my Christmas. I did price a lot of things and looked at a lot of things for people. I wrote down the prices and such, so hopefully that will help me when I go to shop again in a couple of weeks.

My computer will be back with me on Friday, and I'm looking forward to having it so I can post without having to be in a hurry!

Thanks everyone for being so faithful in your postings..even if I can't always respond they help to keep me on track.

Wow you did get a lot of great deals lady. It must have been neat going to the teachers house to see all of her work. They say our houses tell a story about us. Your picture of the heart sounds great. Can you scan it so we can see your work. I know the others would love to see it to. Let us know how the appt goes today. I hope you were able to get back to sleep this morning. Sounds like you are keeping very busy.

You need to catch up on your rest girl. You had a very busy weekend. I am sorry I kept missing you one of these nights we might catch up to each other. I am so glad you had a great time on your vacation. It must have felt great to be free from kids for a few days. I know how you felt about missing them though. It is nice to be away but they are always with you aren't they? Are you on plan with your eating since you got back? Let me know.

Sounds like you are busy with your jobs. The one job with the environmental place sounds interesting and sounds like you have a lot of roles there. That is a great thing. You get to learn a lot and keep busy at the same time. That is the way it is here at work for me. How are you doing with your plan?

Congrats on the loss. Wow you are an inspiration to me to move your goal weight when you are so close to the original one. But I can see if you think you would be happier at the lower goal then that is great for you. I know you can make it. Look how far you have come you will get there with just a little time and hard work on your end.

Congrats on your loss girl. You are doing great. I am glad you had a good time at the induction ceremony congrats again for that. See you can accomplish whatever you set your mind to and you are proving it to yourself daily with this accounting class. You were so worried about it and you are getting A's on the test. Great job keep up the hard work it will pay off in the end.

Congrats on your loss girl. Hey as far as WW goes if you want to continue and I know it is costly ask them about a scholarship program. They have one. You just fill out the form and it gets approved. It runs in 16 weeks increments. You have to be doing the plan and working it and losing weight. They review the scholarship every 10 weeks and the leader I think has a lot to do with if you get renewed or not. I only pay $4.00 a week with the scholarship program. I can afford that and it is worth it to me. Just something to consider. How is the tops group treating you lately? Hang in there and keep up the great work.

As for me. It was a busy weekend. Took Jesse to the dr on saturday. He has an ear infection in both ears and a sinus infection. He is feeling better he is actually happy again and not in pain. Then sunday Megan had a roller skating birthday party to go to. While she was there I cleaned at my parents house for my mom and went and got some groceries. Then we went home and picked up my husband and we picked up Ben for the week and we took the kids trick or treating. We didn't get home until 8:30pm. So it was late I missed exercising yesterday so my daughter could sleep in so she wouldn't be miserable.
On sunday I also cleaned out my closet. I went through all the clothes hanging up and got rid of 8 bags of clothes that don't fit. I got rid of all my maternity clothes so I can't keep falling back on them. So now I have so much more room in my closet. I still have a lot of jeans in my closet that don't fit but they are smaller sizes so I am not getting rid of those. But I had a couple pairs of pants that are too big now and I got rid of them. It felt good but it was scary to. Now I have to lose weight to fit into more clothes.LOL Nothing else going on. Oh Ben has an ear infection also so now he is not happy.

Well had a beautiful day today. But it is raining now. Didnt do a whole lot.Went and voted. Came home and did dishes I didnt do last night. Combed the cat. Played with the dogs. Made pizza and that is about it. Oh and waited on the Dr's office to call. I called this morning. Said they would call today. Had hubby's chart. And the girl was calling. But I still didnt hear anything. I had the answering machine on. Because we went a voted. Other that that we were home all day. We were only gone about 1/2 hour. So I dont know. I guess I will have to call again tomorrow.

SHERRI didnt it feel good to get rid of some clothes that were to big. That is great. I will check into that scholarship thing. I could afford $4 aweek. I will ask the leader Fri. Thanks for the info. I hope they have it around here.

MYCHOICETOBEFIT Hard to believe it is that time of year already. Just seems like it was Christmas. I know they are getting all their Christmas stuff out in the stores here. I need to start getting some ideas. My mom and dad are the hardest to buy for.

I still havent went back to TOPS. I talked to our leader today. She wants us to come back. So we will see. Well tonight was TOPS night. But hadnt planned on going. I told her maybe in a couple weeks. That is when my 10 week plan is done. It just kinda hurt. They allow gastric bypass. We have a lady that had that done. Winning everything. And another lady doing points. But not attending a weight watchers meeting. And that is ok. She lost 10 lbs in a week. So will see what happens. If I do go back. I will still do my points. Well enough of my ranting.
