Default We have fleas!

I am so p.o.'d! My dogs have been on Frontline forever but somehow we still have a flea problem I have over a dozen bites on me. I spent 7 backbreaking hours on Saturday de-fleaing my house and dogs and still got 3 new bites last night. I am gonna be suicidal soon if this doesn't stoop

Oh I feel ya sister! We bought a rental house last year that was infested with them! I of course am allergic to them and had over 50 bites on me. DH had to spray his car because they were hitch hiking home with him and I wound up with them at our house as well! Oh my gosh they are so hard to get rid of. Make sure you are using something that kills the eggs also and if your dogs go outside you will have to treat your yard as well or you they will just bring them right back in. I hope you get them dead and gone soon!

Wendyjo, can you get an exterminator in to fumigate the house? I know it's costly, but...

Hope they go away soon! I know this sounds stupid, but my aunt, who lives in Hawaii, leaves shallow bowls of solution on the floor in every room (not sure what's in it...but you can probably find it on google) that attract the fleas and kill them. It's not easy with two dogs running around to keep them from tipping over, but they really work, otherwise.

If you just started using Frontline you can use it more often than every four weeks. At first when we began we used it about every three weeks then we got down to once a month. We do rescue work so we are always having new animals in so fleas are a problem for sure. There is also a really good spray you can buy to spray called EctoKyl IGR for spraying carpet and furniture. Once you get rid of them and continue regularly with the Frontline you should be flea free. Good luck. Fortunately, I don't get bit, must have bad blood.

Then I would contact the manufacturer and see what they have to say. Maybe you got a weak batch or something.
