Sorry I can't help you because I refuse to put that processed fat-free shite in my body. To much in the way of processing for me and it just doesn't taste good. I eat real cheese or nothing at all.....
Thank the both of your for your input. I'll ask around my meeting on Thursday, but Kelly S., I think I follow your lead and use my points for the real thing or at least 2%, which is not horrible.
I won't use 2% either. I am a (proud) cheese snob! Which is why I do FLORE/CLEX program. LOL! This is just an endearing term for using Flex with portion control but utilizing mostly (90-95% of the time) CoreFoodsList.
Mostly I agree with KELLY although I like a lot of lower fat cheeses too. But I have been mixing the TJs f/f (grated) with other grated cheese in casserole type dishes. And I've never found anything better than Cabot's 2% slices for a grilled cheese sandwich.
I've had the Borden's and that was pretty decent, I've also tried the Trader Joe's ff cheddar and thought it was seriously NASTY. Since soy cheese is allowed on Core, I stick with that.
does soy cheese have a nasty aftertaste? i can't handle the taste of many soy products. do they grown on you in time??
I don't think they have an aftertaste, but I don't eat them plain...jalepeno chedder is great for grilled cheese. The parmeson substitute is pretty good, I think it tastes a lot more like the real stuff then Kraft.
