Default Tuesday AGAIN???

Hi Ladies,

How is everyone doing???

Hope it is a great day for everyone!

I have not even faced the scale because I know it is not going to be nice to me I am hoping things will get better. I am still spotting and not sure if I am on my period or not It is not getting heavier just sporatic (sp???)

Gotta go to the doctor this morning for my blood pressure and gotta bring Andrew in for blood work. I will not be back until later this afternoon.

Hi Everyone,

Well, FL really cooled down. It's nice and sunny, but there is a cool breeze from the north, which is okay because summer will be here soon and we may as well enjoy the cool weather while we can.

Penny, I am not facing the scales either. I am having trouble getting back on track. I know what I should do and yet I don't do it. I should have remembered when I joined the SBD 5# challenge, that they are like a jinx for me. I need to get turned around and make the challenges work for me. And I WILL DO IT! Starting NOW!

Hope everyone has a nice OP day. I'm sending some good vibes to everyone, maybe they'll help us get going again.

Penny,

Make sure to ask the dr about the spotting when you go today. I am sure it is painful after not having it for so long. My PT had her daughter in june last year and just got hers back also and she is still nursing to. Better to get it over with I guess. But it would be nice if we didn't have to deal with it wouldn't it?LOL
Make sure you are eating healthy girl. We make all kinds of excuses not to eat healthy but we don't think twice about putting junk in our mouths. You can do this and I am behind you. Good luck at the dr's.

Same to you girl. You have worked so hard and you were enjoying the SBD so well and doing great on it. Get back on track and drink lots of water to keep the hunger down until you get the white flour carbs out of your system. They are the ones that make you crave more carbs. You can do this. Remember you want to make this year your year to reach goal and you will.
That is great that you want to try out all the different positions in tops. It gives you the experience and understanding of the whole picture.

What is the 5# challange for the month or a week that you guys are doing?

Did you meet your goal of 7 lbs under by SRD? That was this weekend wasn't it? Let me know how you did. You are a great inspiration to us all knowing that we can get to goal just like you did and stay there. I know it isn't easy but you are doing it. You have what it takes to do this and you are doing it. Congratulations to you.

How are you doing? What plan did you decide to go with anyway? Are you enjoying your chapter? Looks like you are doing well with your weightloss. Keep up the great work.

As for me I am doing a lot better. I am feeling much better. I have been testing my blood like I should. I actually set a timer after I eat to remind me to take my blood again and I am taking my insulin like I should. I have been eating my 3 meals a day also. I am dissappointed that the scale is still up though. Don't understand that. But I know Jesse is gaining more and more weight now we are in the homestretch so maybe that is why. He is getting so big that he is pulling my stomach out and down in the front causing a lot of pressure on my lower back. I have been wearing my brace to support it but it still gets aching badly. I can't wait until I get healed from the C section and feel normal again whatever that is like.

We took the kids to a circus last night at another school. It was a huge rip off thats for sure. The kids got in free megan brought a friend. But we had to pay $20.00 a pc for our tickets and everything they had inside you had to pay for as well. It was just a moneymaker and that was it. We couldn't afford to get them anything there but we went to the buffet for dinner afterward and they got a balloon made by the clown there. Megan got a frog hat made of balloons and her friend got a poodle. They had a great time and that is all that mattered. But we won't be doing that again.
Not much else going on here. Got the border yesterday for the baby's room. So hopefully we can decorate that on sunday. We will see how things go and how I feel.

That is great that you are so busy. Hopefully it helps so you don't have time to snack. I am sure your teacher wouldn't give you things to do if she didn't think you could do them. Remember everything takes practice. Don't give up. Obviously she sees something in you that you don't see. You will be fine just keep up the classes and the practicing. The lamp sounds really cool. The grandbaby falls asleep so fast with you because he must be comfortable with you. That is a great thing.

Hi Everyone,

Hope that everyone is doing well. I have weigh in at TOPS in about 2 hours. Mixed feelings on that. I have been really consistant with my exercise, but I cannot say that my eating has been under control very well, and in fact..had a huge binge last night that left me really realing. But...starting anew..continuing on, etc. I think that I will enjoy the meeting, etc. anyways--even if I didn't lose this week.

I am not really following a diet plan, etc. but I am trying to eliminate emotional overeating and binging, and I am incorporating more whole foods, whole grains, less processed food, etc. I think that it will all even out then. I am young, just turned 23, and when I exercise and eat moderately I can lose weight rather quickly. I would like to take advantage of this metabolism while I can, ya know..just need to get myself in check. I am nursing, so I need to keep sensible about it anyways. I would like to get to my goal weight before we have any more babies..not having cycles right now, though, but my son is 15 months old...so could happen anytime, I guess. I just need to get healthy like, yesterday,

Sherri..are you having a scheduled C? Not to be nosey but I was just wondering why/are you having problems with your pregnancy, etc.? I remember my last pregnancy..I was so BIG and uncomfy. He was my third one though..and almost 10 pounds with a head circ of 15 1/4 in.! (I think that is big). My girls were 7.6 lb and 7.13, respectively..so I was suprised that my boy was so big..but I should not have been the way I was munching on m&m's the whole pregnancy.

Default Busy!!!!!

Well, I am off to SRD tomorrow...We (two friends and I ) go a day early. I think I am packed...if I don't change my mind!!! The weather has been so unsettled here for the past week, I don't know what to take...winter or spring!!!

I don't know if I got down to 7 under or not...I haven't weighed on the TOPS scales since last Thursday. I will go in the morning to check...it will not be official because we are not having a meeting this week, but I will know. According to my scales I have only lost 1.5#, as of this PM, and I needed to lose 2.25. But if I don't I will when we have our next weigh in! I am not going to stop! I want that 7 under pin!!!

I am really looking forward to SRD. On of the ladies that had planned to go with us is ill and can't make it. I am really going to miss her. She and one of my neighbors and I have shared a room at SRD's forever.

Ladies who are doing SB...come on lets get back with the program. You were doing so well...it is easy to get side tracked...but start over tomorrow, you can do it! Don't let the blah's get you down

Hope all of you do well at weigh in this week.

I need to get to bed...will post when I get back!!!
