Angry New and excited :)

Hey everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I am very new to WW and to 3FC as well. I am actually starting WW with a friend of mine. She had started it before and has all the books and what not so that is what I am using. Im not going to any meetings or anything, just trying to learn the point system and excersize. No special tools. IS anyone else doing that? I look foward to getting to know you all and I hope to be able to offer support as well as gain it through this long, and HARD journey. Does anyone else have a large amount to lose? I would like to slim down by about 100lbs or so. Goodluck to everyone!

WELCOME! I'm pretty new myself. I'm also doing the points at home thanks to a friend of mine. I tried it before I got pregnant with my daughter and lost 15lbs in 3months so it is doable! I'm on day 4 now. I have about 70lbs to lose to get to my goal. Goodluck to you too and we'll always be here when you need it!

Hi Randi,

Keep on taking those measurements, because it's the best way to see progress, especially when the scale doesn't budge sometimes. I wish I had started measuring when I first started, but for some reason I didn't. Started in January and in just a month I had seen some great losses in inches, which helps a lot.

As you can see from my stats, I have well over 100 to lose, and I just plan on doing a little bit at a time. Because then it becomes manageable and attainable. So take it that one pound, that 5 lbs, that 10% at a time and you'll get there soon enough.

Hi Cinnymamma

Good going ...you've started a wonderful weight-loss program (Weight Watcher's is the best as far as I'm concerned!) ...I know you'll very successful! I started right about where you are (weight-wise), and have lost over 100 pounds. The inches have really added up, too! Almost 80 inches total. I've gone from a size 26 to a 10/12, and I feel better than I have in years ...you can ...no ...YOU WILL DO IT!!
