Default gas

I know that most people don't ask this question but do you get bad smelling gas from eating more protein that you use to. I have come across that. I am not sure what to do about that. It is starting to drive me nuts. My eating has been clean and I am not sure what I need to change if this is not normal.
Here is my eating for the day.
Breakfast
6 egg white
1.5 cup cooked oat bran
snack
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup berreies
lunch
3 cup spinach
1/2 cup red pepper
1/2 celery
12 baby carrots
1/2 can of tuna
2 tb of ultra low fat miricla whip
snack
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/2 pear
supper
4 ozchicken
2 cup of a vegie
1/2 cup brown rice.
Please if someone can help me please do. I have been eating close to that for the last 12 days. I do change little things but that is it in a nut shell.

My opinion is that you have only been doing this for 12 days and yes you will have gas, but you WILL get used to it... Take some Beano before each meal, a few of them, it helps a LOT!! I used to take it but don't have to anymore...

For a couple of months I had to add Gas-X tablets to my weekly shopping list. I felt like a parade balloon on some days. It got better and I rarely RARELY have to take the pills now. Give those a try. The package says take 1-2, but I found I needed 3 in order to stop the problem. My son thought it was funny and tried to "compete". My daughter avoided both of us at all costs.

I agree with Tiki and Ilene - try Beano or Gas-X.

If it REALLY bugs you, ya might want to try changing your protein a bit. Eggwhites and dairy products (i.e. cottage cheese) can do a number on some folks' systems. Of course keep in mind - if you're not accustomed to eating a lot of veggies that could be a factor as well. OH and if you're not already doing so, drink a lot of water!

Thanks everyone. i will have to go and buy some.I have been eating the vegies for awhile but I have just increased my protein more that what it was I drink a lot of water. So much that I had to cut it back from getting to many migranies from drinking too much.

I just remembered that if you are not careful with cooking eggwhites very well that they can give you really bad gasssss....

What I mean is that you have to make sure they are not runny... I once had "pasteurised" uncooked egg whites in a protein milk shake...OMG I had gasssss like you wouldn't believe...
