Hi Ladies! Well It is Thursday! WE are doing a easter game at TOPS. Everyone has partners with a cardboard basket with 5 eggs in it. Well, everytime BOTH partners lose weight in a week you color in a egg. If you gain you have to bring a gift to put in the real basket. At easter the groups with the most or all eggs colored in gets the big basket with all the goodies or shares if there are several groups.... Well, anyways I am very nervous every week whether I am going to let my partner down. See, we both have to lose weight to color in an egg. Last week I gained and was so upset but my partner gained to. I don't think it is fair but oh well. So I am nervous about tomorrow night We will see.

I thought I would quickly post tonight. It isn't Thursday here yet but thought I would add to the Thursday thread. I am really sorry that I am so out of the loop here. In another week it should slow down a bit at work for about a month and then it will be really busy again. Still busy at home trying to get things going here on selling our house. We had a realtor over today and will decide next week. Still no word on the job.

Penny....that contest sounds like fun. When we had a partners contest you still got credit if one of you gained and one lost. It was dependant on the total between the two of you. It would put some pressure on to lose if you don't get any credit if one gains. Even when I knew my partner would still get a point if I gained....it stressed me out and I know that isn't what the contests are for.

Tonight we had our awards night. It was fun. We had the awards presented first and then we ate. There was lots of food but all healthy food. It sure wasn't like our potlucks at work but the ones at work I have a hard time with because they are all so fattening. I was down 2.25 pounds and got a certificate and some charms and my charm bracelet. They don't give the charms out during the year but have the one awards night. It was fun. I was the top loser for March too. I really want to reach KOPS status this year. I have given myself until December so I think it is attainable unless I hit a long plateau. We had a new lady join tonight so that is good. Her friend used to belong to the chapter and then quit and now that her friend is coming the first lady is coming back again.

I guess I should go and get to bed. I only have to work tomorrow and I am off on Friday. I am looking forward to a long weekend.

Hey Marie! I wanted to check this before I went to bed and now I want to say CONGRADULATIONS!!!! WOO HOO! COngrats first of all on the loss for tonight and for the TOPS Loser for the month. Do you have a trophy? Our group has a trophy that the loser of the month gets to take home for the whole next month. It is a great inspiration! I am not sure if all the groups do this or just ours but it is GREAT inspiration. It just says LOSER OF THE MONTH with a person holding a torch! Well congrats again and off to bed! Penny

Hi Penny.....thought I would check in before heading to work. Yes....we do have a trophy we can keep for the month. If you win for 3 months in a row you keep the trophy. It does help with the inspiration. I know I couldn't have kept up with losing the weight without my friends here at TOPS on 3FC or without my chapter friends. I would have given up long ago so I wanted to say thank you to everyone.
