Hi all,

Where is everyone lately. The boards have been so dead.
I did much better yesterday staying away from the carbs. I did have a little but not much. I know the carbs are killing me and making me want more. I did go for a walk for 1 1/2 miles last night with the dog. She makes you walk faster then you normally would which is good. I found out the dog is afraid of cows and other dogs. Usually if a dog sees another one it wants to run with it. Not mine she is trying to run away.LOL

Not much else going on here. Back to work tomorrow. I am going to be on the road for 2 days this week. I have a ton of things to get done in the office but he wants me on the road because we are slow to try and bring in some business. So that is what I will do. It is to be warm all this week.

This will be the last week of daycare for megan. She is going to stay with my parents for the month of aug. this way it will get her into the routine for school. I will be taking her there in the mornings to get on the bus and her father will pick her up after work which is about 5 min after she gets off the bus at my parents. They live 3 houses down so it is convenient. Another reason I wanted to do this is so she can be home a lot earlier for a month before she starts school.

I have larangitis. Have had it now for 5 days. It is driving me nuts. I have an infection in my throat. I don't dare take any over the counter stuff because I am afraid it will put it right down in my chest. So I am just riding it out. I hope it goes away soon.

Nothing else going on here. Christie is on vacation and wendy is kayaking. What is everyone else doing?

I thought I started a thread this morning but must havr just thought I did because it is not.
It is hard for me to imagine Sherri not talking. Those of you that know her know what I mean. You know I love you

This getting almost no sleep can not continue. I am soooooo tired.I am going to try to get something for bed that will help today. I hope anyway. I got a few things done yesterday but I goofed off most of day. I downloaded a game called Blaster ball. It's where you make this ball go thru layers of bricks. I can't do the fancy stuff that 6 year olds can do. It has to be simple.I liked the free demo so much I got the whole thing. It has 100 levels +.So now I need to get done what I didn't yesterday. Bill will be working til noon.We will go to movies this afternoon.
I only got 15 minutes of exercise yesterday. Eating wasn't great but wasn't too bad. Will try to do better today. Boy those words sound familiar.
I hope that you all are having a great weekend and have no time for computer. Well I am going to head to pool for a few laps. At least I can get that much done. Have a great week.
I did 20 laps in pool and 20 minutes of Richard and got past 100 games on computer. Also got some housework done. Gotta go

Yes it is hard not being able to talk like I should.LOL It is killing me. I can't wait to get my voice back.
The game sounds really neat. I hope you get some sleep soon lady you need it. It is not good to be without sleep. Is your medicines keeping you up? I hope whatever you get at the store works for you.
That is great that you are getting in your exercise. As for the eating just start over again asap. You will get there. How is your health? Is the medicines starting to work for you with the thyroid and all?

Hi Everyone,

I'm glad to see that someone is posting again. I had given up and was looking for another thread that held my interest.

Sherri....I had to laugh when you told about your dog running away. I have scaredy cats. DH put in a pet door so they could go out to the screened in porch without us leaving the glass doors ajar and letting the AC out. Those cats are so scared of that door. One finally came thru it because he wanted in so bad and I wouldn't open the door for him, but he ran like the door was after him. LOL.

Joanne, I've been checking the July weigh-ins and your are doing excellent. Way to go!! I'm sure that you will meet your goal this month.

LaDean, Congratulations on your good losses this month and for being 5 weeks in the black. Good luck for next month.

Coco....I'm thinking of you and miss all of you that used to post regularly. Hope you will soon be back.

Wanda...You are doing great, too. Staying a few pounds under goal is a good idea, then you have a little leeway when special occasions comes along.

Well, I have to get some things done early this morning. I'll check back tomorrow.
