Default Phase 1- Week 4 Weigh In

Well.....today was my 4 week weigh in and I lost 4 lbs over the past week and I lost 1" off my waist! My 4 week total weight loss is 12lbs. I am shocked and thrilled at how successful IP has been so far. Because I have Celiac Disease I cannot eat all the products but feel great as I have been 100% gluten free for the last 4 weeks.

This afternoon I noticed that I was feeling tired and kinda sad....I think I need to do something to reward myself. I was thinking about maybe a massage, get my hair foiled or buy a little something new .....what does everyone else do to reward yourself or perk yourself up?

Cheers,

Judith

Judith,

At 20 pounds I bought myself a silver bangle with a quote engraved in it. At 50, I am buying new living room chairs. Try to focus on what you have accomplished, you are doing great!

I've made little goals for each 10 pounds. Manicure, pedicure, massage, new jewelry. The biggie is when I have lost 50 pounds, my husband and I will plan a tropical vacation together. By the time it happens (we can book quickly) I'll hopefully have reached goal, which is 60 pounds. My husband travels for work all the time so we have lots of miles that can be used for it. That will be my "goal reward".

If you're feeling down, I strongly suggest doing something for you. Go take a hot bath, read a good book, something to relax and pamper yourself tonight. You deserve it! And go book that massage or something to celebrate your 10 pound (PLUS!) loss. Way to go!
