Default Lifetime & 2 pound limit

I know the easy work around this but why is the lifetime variance set at only 2 pounds? A 2 pound gain is nothing for me, and I'm sure most women once a month. I've been fairly lucky so far and the gain has not been on WI days but, this is just luck. I'm up 2.5 pounds today and I've been OP so I know it is not anything I've done. Tomorrow I'll go right back down.

When I get to goal I'm going to lose a few below that weight as a hedge against this. How many pounds below goal weight do they allow you to go until your goal weight is adjusted?

I agree with you, which is why I picked a higher goal weight than intended. My WW goal is 158, which I've already achieved, and my personal goal is 150. Then I'll have 8 pounds to play with instead of 2........

I beleive it is because once you are lifetime you can pretty much judge when your gains will be higher than 2 pounds and to teach you how you CAN maintain the goal. I know that many of our lifetimers in my meeting sometimes will weigh the last week of one month and the first week of the following month. Additionally most people will probably end up being 1 or 2 pounds under their set goal weight and that gives another pound.

Raidermom - actually you have 10 pounds to play with (WINK).
