Good morning. I made it to 199lbs. I have been here before but blew it. This time I'm being more mindful and OP. I woke up hungry and had some "mock french toast" with WF pancake syrup. Very filling and tasty! Now I can make real french toast for my family. Love Saturday mornings. The sun is finally shining.

Morning, hoping that everyone has a wonderful day! We had all our shrubs in front of our house pulled up and moved to the backyard this week. Today, we will be shrub and flower shopping.

My gown fitting for my son's wedding was this week. I have lost 25 pounds since buying the gown which means it is a baggy sack! Lots of alterations but it will look nice. Am so glad that I found IP and the board before the wedding!
Have fun everyone.

Way to go Twotots

Safteylady, nice to take a dress in and not out!
We'll be gardening this weekend too.

Getting ready though to go to my Neices first Communion this
morning. The church ceremony will be nice. I'll have to ask for
strength during the after party, there will be LOTS of food there,
of course not all good. My husbands family LOVES to eat. I'm going
prepared, making my own salad dressing and got my quest bar ready
in case there isn't anything suitable. I think they grilling chicken so
salad with chicken would be so great! Skip the cake!
Wish me luck!
Hope everyone has a great day! Finally sunny and warm in CT today!

Way to go!!

Opening week at the Market has been busy. The ribbon cutting was in Monday and we have had a steady stream of customers and the curious. Today is the Grand Opening, so we will be busy with that. Door prize, specials etc.
We will be serving refreshments so I am taking some extra bars with be to avoid temptation to nibble.

Have a wonderful weekend all!

Safetylady - a day of gardening here also! QUESTION - How in the world did you pull up the shrubs?? That was going to be our project today, but we are foregoing it for something else until we can come up with a better solution. Last weekend we tried simply digging out the shrubs with a shovel and that was a complete and total waste of time. There are so many roots in the ground and it made for some hard labor. I have two rows of overgrown shrubs in flower beds on either side of my front porch.

Okay - and as far as IP goes - after a day of working in the yard, we plan on grilling tonight. I plan on filling the grill with meat for use during the week. Tomorrow I am cooking a huge (10 lb) roast, as well as several large pots of veggies - again, to have during the week. I find that cooking ahead makes it so much easier for me to stay on plan.

I have continued to stay off the scale and have not weighed in almost a month. Monday will be my weigh-in day and I cannot wait to see the results. I had to break my scale habit....

Good Morning Everyone, It is still cloudy and rainy and chilly here in Iowa but there is a little bit of sun shinning. Today My husband and I are going to a Cancer Relay for life. My husband always buys a old Aliis Chalmers tractor and has it painted for cancer last year it was dark purple for surviours this year pink for breast cancer. So I am going to take my IP food with me and eat that while all other is eating the bad stuff. Have a great day to all!

Good morning!

Looks like it's going to be a nice day here in Maryland. I have a bridal shower to attend this afternoon. Most of the people there haven't seen me since Christmas, and some others haven't seen me since I began IP. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to their reactions! And showers are fun regardless...I just have to stay away from the food! I have to go shoe/sandal shopping before the shower, since it might actually be a fairly warm day here...finally. I can't complain, though---at least I'm not in the midwest. Snow is May is just wrong, wrong, wrong!

Have a great day, everyone!

Congrats twotots!!

I was wondering, not sure if this is a silly question or not but, I'm going for gallbladder surgery at the end of the month and on another forum that I'm on someone who is doing ip said you shouldn't be in ketostis when going for surgery. Is this true, and if so do you know why? It isn't until the 31st so I still have a little more ip time before I'd have to knock myself out, but I'd rather not if I don't have to. Thanks for your help.

Good morning! Hope everyone has a wonderful day. It's a trip to see my dad today and clean his house. It'll be my first visit since I started IP and I'm a little concerned because we always go out to lunch or dinner. I have a plan though, so I should be able to handle it. Heck, I've made it through 4 weekend nights of not drinking!

Good Morning IP Peeps!~~~
Unseasonably cool for Austin, TX! Had to get the sweaters back out of the back of the closet the last two days.
Almost to my sixth WI and staying strong - was extra hungry last night so I had a second shake and I don't feel guilty about it today because I still feel in control!
